There are many that say they know who Jesus Christ is. But do they really? Let’s read just a few scriptures that let’s us know just who Jesus Christ really is by telling us some of the things He has done, and one event, of many, He has yet to complete. After reading these few scriptures you may be surprised to learn that there may have been a lot about Jesus Christ you did NOT know!

Jesus Christ is the one that created everything that was created. Let’s prove this by starting with some scriptures I’m sure all will be familiar with;

St. John 1

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

2. The same was in the beginning with God.

Now I’m sure all have at some point read the verse above during their reading of God’s word. But the next (2) verses may have been read, but only glanced over and not taken seriously…..that is until other verses are read along with it for understanding. Let’s read….

3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

10. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Now some may have noticed them and what they say, but most just continue to just glance over them never really reading them, and understanding what they imply. Let’s NOT do that now. Let’s take out the time to really understand the word of God:

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

“ He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”

Did you ever consider what these verses are really saying? Jesus Christ made ALL THINGS that were made. So that means ALL THINGS; heavens, earth, animals and MAN was made by Jesus Christ! Now let’s confirm this with other scriptures.

Col.1

12. Giving thanks to the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15. Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of every creature:

16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

Heb.1

1. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2.Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

Eph.3

9. And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

So the verse in the first chapter of John really comes to light after reading other scriptures supporting what it says. Now that we know some of the things Jesus did….let’s read more…..

Jesus is the one that led the children of Israel by a pillar of a cloud and fire, and fed them the word;

Ex 13

21. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

22. He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Now let’s go to the (NT) and find what Paul had to say about the journey that their fathers took out of the land of Egypt. Let’s go to Corinthians.

Cor. 10

1. Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

2. And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea.

3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

9. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Paul above confirms what we have been finding out through the reading of the scriptures.

Now let’s read of an event that is yet to come that will also be performed that the one that made everything that was made.

Finally it will be Jesus Christ that will be the judge of all mankind;

St. John 5

22. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgement unto the Son;

26. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given unto the Son to have life in himself.

27. And hath given him authority to execute judgement also, because he is the Son of man.

So….who is Jesus Christ? Do you really know who He is? God’s word tell us……..

Hebrews 13: 8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.

Jesus' Work is a finished Work. Hebrews 9:12 "Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption." Hebrews 9:24 "For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;..." Jesus work of redemption was finished at the Mercy Seat in Heaven.

Jesus death was just the begining of many jobs. While it is true His job of redemption is complete...He yet has other postions to fill.

His job now is to be our High Priest;

Heb.4

[14] Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

[15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

After He is done with His current postion, He will then become the judge of all mankind;

St. John 5

22. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgement unto the Son;

26. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given unto the Son to have life in himself.

27. And hath given him authority to execute judgement also, because he is the Son of man.

Then He moves on to His next position to become a king;

Dan.7

[13] I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

[14] And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Luke 22

[29] And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

Jesus is LONG from finishing all of the work He has to do!

Jesus is my God and King, my Master and Saviour, my High Priest and big brother, and my friend and companion!

Is9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

1Tim6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

Rev1:18 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

1Tim1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Is44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Heb7:26 For such an High Priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.

Is43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Lk3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.

Heb1:1-4NAS God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

Heb1:6-12 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Jn1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jn1:14-17 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Rev1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Rev19:15

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Question is...

Does Jesus know you?

Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I would have to say THAT is probably the most important question of all. There will be alot of people that claim to know the Lord, but as the scriptures above tells us, "...Many will say to me in that day,....."!! For if we are not known by Jesus we will NOT be in His kingdom. And here is yet another way that He let's us to to be known by Him;

John 10

[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

We will be known by God when we OBEY!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
