The Word implies (well, implies is the wrong word, it states) that those who aren't a child of God are a child of the devil. Your problem is not with me, or Yod, or Cobalt.

The problem is not who to vote for, or if we don't have enough Christians voting. Our problem is we don't have enough CHRISTIANS!! I'm not talking pew warmers but true hard core followers of Christ. When that becomes a majority, then you will see this country change. Then again, it could be God's plan that this country falls. He does establish the rulers.

You've hit the nail on the head, L.J. We've got a nation full of people who like to identify themselves as "Christians" yet have no real idea of what that means and also make no effort at all to actually get to know the God they're trying to say they're tied to. I have no idea how many times I've heard something akin to, "My God wouldn't do that," or "That's not my God," when referring to some tragic situation or when faced with doctrine that is not politically correct. So many so-called Christians out there who have rejected the God of the Bible in favor for a secularized, quasi-Budda god of "peace and love." No wonder the nation is sinking like a stone. As the song says, "You've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything."

To Mormons, then, Christianity is a cult. Isn't it true that almost all religions call almost all other religions cults?

There is only one creator, which gives Him authority over said creation. Everything we have is from Him and is in fact His.

From some of my studies about Mormonism:

1) Joseph Smith was not only a pathological liar, he also was a 33rd degree Mason. The "special protective underwear", and a lot of Mormon religious practices are actually derived from Freemasonry.

2) The history of the Mormons has of course evolved over the centuries. If anyone really wants to know what they believe I suggest they get themselves a copy of the video "The Godmakers". Mormon hierarchy has forbidden any Mormon to obtain and/or possess this movie. In it, they stretch their beliefs to the unimaginable, by saying that all Mormons are alien beings from the planet Kolon, that Jesus and Lucifer were equal brothers, and that God cursed the followers of Lucifer with black skin.

3) Once a Mormon gets to the (I believe) higher eschelons of Mormonism, like Freemasonry, they throw all pretense aside and worship Lucifer.

4) They base their polygamy beliefs on the fact that when a Mormon dies, he takes all his wives with him and spend eternity having endless celestial sex.

I could go on, but there are just some things that are difficult to swallow. And Romney believes ALL of this.
