Now, you did veer off from what we were talking about and totally missed the point of what I said Justinian. Man does not keep the church alive. Man is essentially dead without the Lord. Spiritually dead. So a church is spiritually dead too without the Lord. So really nothing that man can build can be anything but spiritually dead without the Lord.

Joseph Smith could never have done more than Jesus because Joseph Smith is just a spiritually dead man whereas Jesus brings life to us.

A person can have a resemblance of being spiritual yet still be spiritually dead.

From some of my studies about Mormonism:

1) Joseph Smith was not only a pathological liar, he also was a 33rd degree Mason. The "special protective underwear", and a lot of Mormon religious practices are actually derived from Freemasonry.

2) The history of the Mormons has of course evolved over the centuries. If anyone really wants to know what they believe I suggest they get themselves a copy of the video "The Godmakers". Mormon hierarchy has forbidden any Mormon to obtain and/or possess this movie. In it, they stretch their beliefs to the unimaginable, by saying that all Mormons are alien beings from the planet Kolon, that Jesus and Lucifer were equal brothers, and that God cursed the followers of Lucifer with black skin.

3) Once a Mormon gets to the (I believe) higher eschelons of Mormonism, like Freemasonry, they throw all pretense aside and worship Lucifer.

4) They base their polygamy beliefs on the fact that when a Mormon dies, he takes all his wives with him and spend eternity having endless celestial sex.

I could go on, but there are just some things that are difficult to swallow. And Romney believes ALL of this.
