This paragraph stood out.

"If the modest, general trend away from belief in God continues uninterrupted, it will accumulate to larger proportions and the atheism that is now prominent mainly in northwest Europe and some ex-Socialist states may spread more widely," they write, adding that it is possible the trend could go the other way, with belief in God seeing a rebound.

I think there is some truth in that. I know among my parents' generation, more people placed a higher value on faith than they seem to in my generation and the generation younger than me.

Who knows? Maybe there will be a major revival among this younger generation. But the trends do seem true.

Was disappointed the list of countries surveyed did not include Canada.

We are told that there will be a falling away in the last days. I have expected to see this and am not surprised at all. yes, there will be some coming to Christ when they do accept that what scripture said is true, as long as they have their eyes open and their ears unplugged.

We can see the trend of God in and out of the lives of generations through out the book of Kings/Chronicles. It cycles. I believe that if I were to relate where we are in relation to Israel in the book of 2 Kings, I would have to say it's game over, no rebound.

The time is ripe for His return and the world needs Him so much these days. The young these days are all about themselves and stature in their groups.

Age really should not be a factor that deems if a person has more faith than another...then do not see why the amount of faith one person has in comparison to another is even an issue. Think it is these sort of things that tend to draw people away from Jesus rather than toward.

The key factor is this.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Many parents of the children growing up today are not walking in the Lord, so many of the children only know about Christ from the streets and peers. Ask any kid on the street what they think of God. You will be shocked with the answers you will hear.

I see how the trend could continue what with the world's dwindling moral fiber, but I am so encouraged by what I am seeing in the youth of today's great churches! Holy Spirit is on the move and igniting their hearts with such strong faith. Youth all over are taking up the challenge to live their faith, against the tide of immorality that would seek to engulf them. These are the next generation's spiritual leaders, and I am more encouraged than ever before.

Makes me wonder what you are looking? When I look at the world, I see many more lost these days then I did growing up. I see 5 years old talking like drunken sailors, 12 year old girls trying to look like 21, parents turning their backs on their kids in favor of their own selfish desires. Not sure where you are looking.

Do you believe that the church is to make the world a better place for Christ to return, known as the Latter Day Movement?

I am seeing a resurgence in many churches of youth coming to God and serving Him with their lives. There is an overabundance of evil out there, but I am seeing more on-fire, believing and influential, soul-winning youth than I have ever seen in all my years.

With Jesus we can choose to see the glass half empty or overflowing. I am not wearing rosy glasses, either. I see the filth in this world, but I also see a solid core of strong, spiritually mature youth coming up.

Do you believe that the church is to make the world a better place for Christ to return, known as the Latter Day Movement?

What? Why jump to that conclusion from what I have said? Sometimes I have to just shake my head... :13: The Manchild Company is a heresy of monumental proportion. The world is going to be a wretched place when Jesus returns and the Church will have nothing to do with it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
