so you justify killing, when i read that while sad. it was no different then when i watched afghanis shoot each other over land.so if i dont get a raise., murder my boss? hey it works why not? one can protest legally, sure if its self-defense and sadly there was some of that but even the teamster steward that i work with that is pro-obama said the afl-cio of which the w. virginia one was a tit for tat. the unions also used violence to get the business to bend.

im glad christ is in me. once you cross that line its well wouldnt be hard for me get that businessman to bend if used ieds and killed his wife and kids.that is what the enemy does to the locals that help us. they force them to kill us by threatening to kill their familes. that went on in w,.virginia. yeah real christ like.

The frightening thing to me, more frightening than the violent mob?

No matter how much we are trained to face them we are never prepared for them. In moments like those the only thought was family, God and Jesus, in that order. Praying

Still has that problem. Anywhere Unions become entrenched, there is always violence and greed. Always. For one thing, because all Unions, no matter what country they are in are backed by some type of organized crime. Unions, in this country, outlived their usefulness long ago and should have been outlawed, at least in their current form, a long time ago. The first time there was even a hint of Organized crime within a Union, they should have been outlawed. Unions, not companies, are directly responsible for the outsourcing of jobs in this country. They kept asking and asking and asking for pay raises for their employees no matter what shape the economy was in, and what others doing comparable work, non-union were making. And going out on strike is nothing but legalized blackmail. No one who goes out on a strike should ever be able to return to work at that company again. They surrendered their jobs the moment they went out on strike.

Sorry to hear about this Fez. Your country is experiencing what ours did when Labor Unions first established themselves here, and your country will face the same problems, because when there are Labor Unions, nothing but problems follow in their wake. Praying.

you arent aware that when president ronald reagean forced ATT to split that at the same time the union there was on strike. one of them was my mother a consertive. in reality that worked better for her as bell south was and att benefited from the break up. ironically att bought out bell south twenty years later.my mom is retired from that and has told me that they forced her to retire. ONLY to hire a bunch of immigrants and then those immigrants couldnt speak good english and when she called them to get a number(she was an operator for 30 years or more) she had to tell them how to use the machine.

not all unions use violence. yes it does get ugly.btw ups is unionised here.

My brother worked for UPS. He was forced into the union like every else who works there - that is, if you work for UPS you have no choice but to belong to the Union.

One day he came home steaming mad because the UPS heads wanted to make changes that would benefit the employees, but the union heads arm-strung them into a deal that benefited the union heads and was less beneficial to the employees.

My brother worked for UPS. He was forced into the union like every else who works there - that is, if you work for UPS you have no choice but to belong to the Union. I have a couple of acquaintances that retired from UPS and they don't have much of anything positive to say about their union.

One day he came home steaming mad because the UPS heads wanted to make changes that would benefit the employees, but the union heads arm-strung them into a deal that benefited the union heads and was less beneficial to the employees.

Neb, I think it depends on the state you are in as to whether or not they have to join the union...... but if someone doesn't join the union, they are basically shunned and are seldom sucessful.

I spent 40 eyars with Xerox and the company pretty much makes it manditory for our manufactureing to be union. In that invironment it is much easier to deal with a union that a lot of employees. We have little trouble with our union people because the company takes care of it's employees...... or at least used to when I was there. We were not union in the service end of the business, largely because it wasn't needed.

He probably lives in a state that doesn't have a right to work law.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
