'Get Out of Egypt as Soon as Possible,' Advises Expert

By Myles Collier , Christian Post Contributor

There are disturbing reports coming out of Egypt that hardline Muslim Brotherhood supporters are crucifying opponents of President Mohammed Morsi, creating a panic within religious minority communities.

Several Middle East news agencies are confirming reports that some of the Muslim Brotherhood operatives have "crucified those opposing Egyptian President Muhammad Morsi naked on trees in front of the presidential palace while abusing others."

By STEVEN LEE MYERS, New York Times

Published: September 3, 2012

WASHINGTON — Nearly 16 months after first pledging to helpEgypt’s failing economy, the Obama administration is nearing an agreement with the country’s new government to relieve $1 billion of its debt as part of an American and international assistance package intended to bolster its transition to democracy, administration officials said.

I honestly don't know what to say about this. The United States government is now supporting the crucifixion of Christians.

but that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

"crucified those opposing Egyptian President Muhammad Morsi naked on trees in front of the presidential palace while abusing others."

Given the immense news presence in Egypt at the moment, I very much doubt that this is true. In front of the palace?

It would have been on every TV screen in the world, on You Tube, Facebook, Twitter, etc, within minutes.

So I doubt this is fact.

Though this may not be true, there has certainly been an increase in Christian persecution there since the Muslim Brotherhood has gotten a greater grip on power.

When I began the thread, I wrote that I didn't know what to say. Unfortunately I now do.

It is my belief that the nations of the world, beginning with Washington DC, will ignore these acts and proceed with business as usual. After all, we are addicted to Arab oil and cannot insult or accuse the source of our energy without risking an interruption in supply.

Muslims are killing Christian brothers and sisters. Doesn't that bother anyone?

but it's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

Its told in the Bible that many would be persecuted and even killed.... so its nothing that we are not aware of....though of course it is disturbing. And its just the start of that which is yet to come....but faith in the Lord shall bring us to where we need to be in His comfort.

Blessings to you....Rascus
