That is an important distinction. When the Palestinians claim that they want to end ALL illegal israeli settlements, in their mind that includes the nation of Israel. Since the days of Arafat, Israel and all of its cities are viewed as illegal Israeli settlements. The entire nation is viewed as an occupation. The "West Bank" in Palestinian speak is all of the land from the Jordan to the Mediterreanean Sea, essentially they include all of Israel as their working definition of the "West Bank."

I see a reocurring theme with evil in this world. People want to take what doesn't belong to them. Why is that such a common characteristic?
