OK, I have to intervene here to set things straight.

First, this is a discussion forum.  People can and will reply to any thread they wish.  If anyone wishes to not see another persons posts, they can always place them on ignore through their profile.  Nobody has the right to tell anyone else not to reply to their posts.

Second, the Outer Court is designed for nonbelievers to ask questions about our faith in Christ.  It is not a place for long drawn out arguments about science between believers, insulting each other and questioning their salvation.  This form of communication is against the ToS and will be dealt with when seen.  Though our ToS is not Gods law, it is our guiding points in which this site operates.

A few highlights from the Terms of Service:

Our desire is to provide a Christian-friendly, family oriented atmosphere online. In Order to do that we apply the following rules.

You may not post any material that is disrespectful of God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, or the Bible.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

The use of profanity will not be tolerated. This includes sexually explicit, vulgar, or other profane language or usernames as well as any any signs or symbols that suggests such.

Abuse of other posters is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, name calling, insulting, harassing, threatening or in any way invading the privacy of another poster.

Debate the subject, not the person. It is possible to disagree about a doctrine or subject under discussion without insulting the person with whom you are debating.

The outer Court is an area where we allow anyone who wishes to learn more about our belief to ask questions and learn.

We now have the ability to ban members from particular threads.  If personal attacks or fighting between members are seen in an over aggressive way, one or more will be banned from a thread.  If you feel insulted by another member, or if you see personal attacks and insults going on, report the post(s).

Please keep this in mind when replying to others.

John 13:35
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

One thing I have to point out, cosmetology deals with makeup and hairstyles!

Also, pedicures and manicures? Haven't had one of those for a long time, maybe next weekend ^_^

Sadly it happens a lot on here.

And it shouldn't.  The Lord made us each a unique individual; if He didn't want differences among us He would not have made us this way.  :mgbowtie:

You are right it should not, but we all see it every day.

Just this morning I had my worldview questioned because of a source of current event news I choose to use.

I'm astounded here recently. I get why lots of people don't believe in evolution but saying GPS disproves relativity when it's used relativity in its calculations and saying gravity is wrong, well as I've said I'm astounded. It's like that fixed earth idea in another thread. Have the tin foil hat people taken over this site. Used to have courteous reasoned debate. Also some people getting a bit angry in their posts with CAPS and the like. Relax people. Exchanging different ideas and outlooks shouldn't lead to anger but greater understanding.

Yeah, outside of here, I've encountered a lot of resistance to evolution and the big bang, but not gravity or heliocentricity. I've heard indirectly of objections to relativity and didn't understand it at first, until I realized that it causes problems with YEC (such as things like the speed of light and seeing light from stars that are more than 6,000 light years away. i.e. all of them but the sun). I remember seeing a list of entire scientific fields that you have to ignore to believe in YEC. It filled up most of the page.

Did that article mention what you DO have to believe in to adhere to creationist beliefs?

You have to believe "in the beginning God....".

After that there is room for discussions

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
