For those who believe satan can take away your salvation - God Says absolutely not!

Rom 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers,

nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing,

shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NKJV

I think we give Satan more power than he has, and that is to ease our own conscience instead of it being us who sinned.

while I have to agree that in this sense most people do give Satan more credit (blame) than he deserves. I don't think that most give him credit for the sheer power that he has.  Compared to God he is extremely confined in his power, but compared with humans we are powerless.  Remember that the angel Michael would not confront him over the body of Moses but to simply say the Lord rebuke you.  Michael is one of the super dudes.

But even at that we do still have our free will and Satan can not make us do anything....   but I can testify that he can surely put you up to things just as he did Eve.  and he has millions of helpers to make up for not being everywhere at once.

So the devil made me do it is no excuse.....   but don't sell the enemy short, for he or one of his minions are always around to catch you not paying attention.    and he can always find someone down the street to come by and mess with you....   that's why bad things happen to good people in my opinion.   He's how people like our present president get elected.......   IMHO.

Good advice.  The devil is NOT a toothless lion as the popular line goes on some programs on channels that shall not be named.

I have some good questions. 1. Why do some say the closer you are to God the closer you are to the devil. Is there anyway to walk FAR from the devil and not always have him lurking. For example, what's the point of staying close to God if the devil is always on your tail. 2. What actions does one take to fast. 3. When we say the devil has millions of helpers, is there scripture to support exactly how many demons are working under him besides the six already.

in rev. john talks about there being ten thousands times ten thousand and thousands of thousands which would be thousands of thousands more than a 100 million.

if a third of them went with Satan, that would be more than 33 million fallen helpers for him in the angel realm, plus all the demons.

as for the devil

James 4:6-7

Therefore it says, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble." 7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

As this verse states you were not ever found they just thought they were Matt 7:21

and the verified truth of Scripture is simply -simple and plain->

1 John 2:19

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us,

they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made

manifest, that none of them were of us.

NKJV

As far as believers being deceived God says He 'IS' able to prevent

Matt 24:24-25

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders

to deceive, if possible, even the elect.  25 See, I have told you beforehand.

NKJV

The if possible in the reasoning of The Scriptures above NOT possible by these verses

below:

Rom 8:31-39

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He

not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God's

elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died,

and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes

intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation,

or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

"For Your sake we are killed all day long;

We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers,

nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing,

shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NKJV

When God speaks this plainly the truth of His Possession 'Those born and sealed by God

The Holy Spirit 2 Cor 1:20-22' others may say whatever but 'WE' know His Truth....

Love, Steven

seems Jesus and all the apostles wasted a whole lot of time warning the people who weren't really saved to begin with, nor would they be saved. as it makes no sense what so ever to warn born again untouchable Christians who can't be led away from the faith

I have to say the OSAS doctrine is probably the most unbalanced theology ever taught, but seeing where it came from explains alot

Just because God is omniscient, doesn't make OSAS any less true. OSAS is truth, and his blood is forever.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
