Have any of you heard of Hagmann and Hagmann, and their talk radio show?

 

What about Steve Quayle?  And there was a 3rd man who's name I forget.

 

I listened to a very interesting talk show last night on You Tube with these men speaking. They made lots of positive references to Jesus saying He is is their Lord, and we're saved by His blood. So they sound like legitimate Christians to me. It was a 2.5 hr show, and last 1/3 was how our government is trying to take our guns away. They were against this, and I know most of us are too.

 

So do you folks think these guys are Christians, or phonies?

These guys are legit.  Their websites have been around for a long time and have been interviewed numerous times on the radio.  They come from an end-times perspective interpreting current events from an evangelical background.  They often have "news" that you will never see in the main stream media.

Thank you for responding. I am VERY cautious about anything on You Tube. When I started the video I didn't think I'd even last 15 mins. I kept waiting for them to say something against Jesus, but they never did. In fact they kept confirming Jesus as Lord and Savior. I'm not sure I believe everything they said, especially the part about a huge base under the ice of Antarctica. That sounds far fetched, but maybe it is true.

 

I'm also interested in end times prophesies. I think that as I write this, God The Father has once again given us the chance to prevent His wrath. He almost always did that with ancient Israel. He always sent at least 1 prophet to warn the people and to tell them to repent and change their ways. But very rarely did they listen.  And it's happening again. It seems like God is letting the homosexual issue come to a head to try and wake us up.  This and abortion. Once upon not too long ago, I considered myself Pro-choice. I was ignorant, very, very ignorant about how an abortion is done. All I was looking at was all the children being born out of wedlock, that no one wanted.  But then I saw a special on how an abortion is done. That was the end of me being pro choice.  But we still have this problem of too many children being born out of wedlock that no one wants. The obvious answer is for men and women to stop having sex without marriage. There may be some exceptions, such as rape, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about 2 consenting adults who aren't married. But we, as the church of Christ have turned our backs to this for so long now, that to start to tell people they are committing a terrible sin by having sex outside of marriage, is going to be difficult, to say the least. But it's not that hard to do, because I did it, and I'm no one special. I'm also 61 years old, and I have proven a person can live their whole life and never cause a baby to be conceived to a woman I wasn't married to.  Not only did I do that, but since God never saw fit to bless me with a wife, I don't have children at all. Sure many younger men used to mock me when I was young, but I refused to have sex with a woman I wasn't married to. It can be done.

 

And so now we have this gay issue. (I'm not gay neither)  We are almost all in agreement over the gay issue. But if we, as Christ's church, are going to take a stand against homosexuality, as we should, we also have to take a stand against fornication, adultery, and if we do this, there won't be an abortion issue.

 

So God knows what He's doing. He's trying to wake us up, before it's too late. God will not put up with our sinful world forever. He made that clear in the Bible. IMHO God has already had more patience with us than I had expected.

Yes JTC I agree but unfortunately the church has lost her voice in the world partially because of the world's hardness of heart but also because the church now resembles the world.  I may be wrong but isn't the divorce rate between believers and non-believers the same?  Judgment begins with the house of God.

I have a question that maybe I should start another thread for, but I'll ask it here. The movie about Peter is on EWTN, which is a Catholic channel. But so what, why do some Christians seem to hate Catholics so much? I don't see Catholics as our enemies. In fact, I've now heard several Catholic clergy say we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus dying for us. This may be new thinking for them. But that's the same thing we believe, and it's what the Bible says. It was quite by accident I have 2 Catholic channels. I didn't order them. I didn't even know they existed. I'm in a Sandy storm disaster area. I never had Verizon TV before the storm. It was only after the storm and Verizon brought FIOS in. I ordered phone and Internet service, and they threw in TV for only $10 a month. Maybe it wasn't a coincidence. I'm hearing many changes in Catholicism. Good changes to me. Long time coming changes. They aren't our enemy, nor are we theirs.

 

One more question, because where I live very few people own guns. Is there any truth to the rumor that the gov is buying up bullets like crazy? Even bullets like 22 cal, which the military has little use for.

Steve Quayle is a very devout Christian, and the other person you are thinking about is probably  Stan Deyo also a very devout Christian.   I am not familiar with the Hagman's, but I do trust Steve and Stan.  They do tend to expect the worse in any scenario though, but they are right most of the time also in areas outside of speculation.....   and they do tell you when they are speculating.

Who are we to judge whether someone is a Christian or a phoney? If someone says he/she is a Christian we should believe them. Granted some Christians don't act like they are one, but it still not our place to make that determination. If they are phoney time will reveal them for what they really are. Only God is the judge and He knows the state of their heart.

      Welcome to Worthy...lol(relax)...I really don't think anyone is looking for anyone to pass judgment on anyone and you are certainly correct in that only our Lord can know a persons heart but we can have opinions and are told we will know a tree by its fruit,right? Personally I have never heard of these fellows or at least don't recognize them by name so I wouldn't know what they bring to the table.

      Have you ever watched late night Christian T.V. and come across the fellow who takes verses about sowing and reaping totally out of context  and promises you will get your financial blessing only if you send him X amount of money so he can send you some miracle napkin to put under your pillow?Do you think he may be peddling Scripture for personal gain?Ahh yes ,we cannot know his heart but we sure know better than listen to his false teachings,don't we?And we definately don't want to sow into infertile ground...

      I love your passion for the Lord and for following His Word,I'm just saying that I think when we ask each other if anyone has any knowledge of a particular person who claims to be a Christian, it's to find out if our brethren think them to bear good fruits,thats all....

Ask me what I think of Peter Popoff....I don't see anything he preaches to line up with the Word of God....I'm sure others will disagree and I don't know his heart but I do know the Scriptures and we are not to add or leave out one jot or tittle,his mass mailers are very misleading from what I have seen,in my opinion.

I have Steve Quayles book "Angel wars" Its an interesting book, probably one of the most interesting stories in the book is the testimony of a soldier that was in Afghanistan and reports the military killed a giant that had been living in a cave in Afghani wilderness

description of this giant puts him at 10-12 ft tall and a whooping 1000 lbs

seeing that historically other giants found in America and other countries are wisked away never to be seen again (as they're existance confirms the biblical text) that they existed before and after the flood

It makes you wonder why this information is so secret, much like when smaller giants were found buried in caves in Minnesota, the news papers at the time printed the big news but you never find any more of what happened to these giants

they were shipped to the Smithsonian and disposed of because they don't fit into their evolution theories.   and if they make them public then you would have to check their DNA and find that the story of the nephilim was correct as the Bible mentions and Enoch and Jasher are not so far out.  We don't need to go proving the Bible is correct (Smithsonian thinking).
