the Lord speaks to me sometimes in song , this morning as i woke up

it was i was hearing people in a very large crowd with angels in echo singing

" I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS

I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS

I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS

No Turning Back

No Turning Back

The Cross Before me

The World Behind me

The Cross Before me the World behind me

The Cross Before me

The World Behind me

NO TURNING BACK NO TURNING BACK !

When we let go of the tight grip of the worldly things , we will draw closer than ever before to the Father

but we must have Faith and Trust in HIM

Please this will have to be a decision that you make from your own heart , and only the Holy Spirit will reach you

about FACEBOOK

It may seem a good thing , or like you think you are making it better

but the Lord spoke to me and said " Deborah Leah " if you sin and try to cover it with a white cloth dont you know i see under the cloth ?"

Things that are rooted in such evil , are not Glorifying to GOD at all

And We as His precious children are to Abstain from the appearance of Evil

I know you may think that sharing Jesus on a Social Networking blog that is Non Christian

but as Jesus said

even though the tares and wheat grow together , they both will be plucked up and seperated

what is so rooted in Facebook is so dark and sinister that some dont realize or want to realize it is not Where Jesus would want us .

Heres what helped me say good bye to Facebook

Think about " WWJD " would Jesus approve of what is being put on my wall , either by me or " friends of facebook "

and would i be ashamed to show him ?

Did you know Facebook , will allow from bullying , to child exploitation , even recently the beheading of Christians !

everything from porn to suicide , and satanism is allowed

and the worst is the new thing people are doing     using the thumbs up in like  and saying the  foul blasophomist word with the letter f   #$@ Jesus

with over 129,000 and more liking it ?

They are blasophming Jesus on Facebook , i draw the line when a company allows this kind of thing and

wont take it off .

i have tried to leave Facebook over and over 3 times , i felt like a herione addict thinking i would not survive if i

didnt have it connected

when all along its just a Lie and a part of Satans deception

from brain washing the christian into the cute fuzzy farmville games to the role playing games

to keeping you so occupied in chat and comments

your whole day is Wasted in Facebook , instead of reading the WORD or singing praises to Jesus

Im sorry but for me personally i chose to stay away

i still have skype to talk to my loved ones

email, and the ever popular snail mail

or the phone if need be

due to i live in Australia and family in USA

but the Holy Spirit wants us to let go of the Tight grip of the world and the things in it

and cling tighter to HIM

Jesus wants you to draw closer

in fellowship and also to protect you dear Children from  the Wiles of the Devil

and internet is his WEB of Deceit

i left Facebook

started my own blog and still share Jesus but  now

i have a clean conscience knowing i am not supporting a socail network

that is rooted in such evil and blasophmy against GOD or the Holy Spirit

Please dont quench the Holy Spirit Child

when you think you can compromise with the world and live like it

then the still small voice becomes more and more faint in the distance

and the world becomes your god :(

Jesus has warned us in the last days

that even the elect would try and be decieved

Satan dangles things like Facebook to make you think you can be a part of it

even though its rotting at the root in evil .

read about the founder of Facebook , and the Alumanati and all the things it promotes

and tell your self this " if i even log on to it and like a page i am supporting the Blog and supporting the Evil behind it .

Jesus  said to be seperate from the world , we may be in the world but we are not of it

to FLEE even the appearance of evil

I promise you your life will be more at peace

you will not feel the anger , frustration , see the gossip of the news and media , or

feel the fear if you leave it

and true friends will stick beside you closer than a brother no matter if you leave Facebook

i had over 115 friends , would you know since i left i have only 3 that now contact me !

goes to show you

FACE BOOK is not your friend

its a Fraud and a fake way satan uses the things of the world to entrap you

please note this is your choice

but for me i have decided to follow Jesus , the cross before me

the world behind me

NO TURNING BACK NO TURNING BACK

God bless and Shalom

well I think it's a matter if you control it or you let it control you and your emotions , In that case yes one should go if its hindering their walk with the Lord and though the Lord may have called you to leave , many have been called to be a light in a dark place there through prayer and other forms that i have seen for myself bringing many to the Lord , in fact many just last night., were living in evil day's and its all around online or off it , and our time here is short , the Lord judges the heart of man and know their motives , I pray that the Lord will continue to work through those he has called there to bring the lost to himself.

Thanks and God bless you all

i have no right to judge anyone that uses Facebook

for years i used it

till one day the Holy Spirit tugged at my heart and said " ok Deb time to leave "

its a personal decision and only one that can be made with the guidance and the sensitivity

of listening to HIM

i was on a 7 day fast from everything in technology , including phone and tv

wOW ! God speaks insuch volume when you dont have those things around you lol

im at peace now , very happy and calm , something i was not in the past , always frustrated with myself when i would see a comment

about the president and congress and find myself commenting below it like a magnet !

kinda scary to think how much technology does influence our life

im so Glad to have the relationship with Jesus , and to have the Holy Spirit to guide me

to safer places ;)

like a mother hen , He longs to put us under HIS wings for protection

we just have to Trust in Him

it was so scary for me here i am in Australia my life and family in USA

scared i would not hear from my daughters or family , and after i realized they were still there , i just had to use a different method

so i skype them , and talk on the phone, we still have email

it was not as bad as i thought ;)

kinda dissapointing though But Jesus said " I will Never leave you or forsake you "

and i had over 115 facebook friends only 3 have contacted me so far :(

but i still love them and pray for them

Prayer is the most powerful weapon the Lord has given us

so i pray someday they too will feel the tug to leave Facebook

and just go by faith and trust in Jesus

i am so glad i did even though i dont have chat on my blog

i still have my audio blog

and my site that shares Jesus

and takes prayer requests too

it horrifies me to see how social networking has gotton so bad

so quickly , how it embraces such evil for good and good for evil

but These are the Days of Noah and Lott

and Soon We wont be taking our computers with us

We will be with the KING

Praise God and as us grand kids would say to grandma - pass the peas ;)

God bless and

Barush Hashem Adonai

Shalom

just goes to show you how many people really do need to be shown Love in this world. I am very aware of FB and how people have such strong opinions, and want their opinion to be known on there. Alot of people feeling discontent and I can only say we can only love people with Gods strength.  Exercise faith in God, it does opens the doors for Gods blessings, its all a process. Fear works the same, you start talking about something bad, it opens the door. fear not.

Facebook, like many things, is simply a tool. Nothing more no less. And its a tool that can both be used for good and evil, in many different ways. if you feel it is distracting you from God then by all means, stay away from it! Because it can indeed be a stumbling block. Personally ive found many uses for fb and personally I don't see it as a stumbling block for me.

Not everyone gets as involved with other people's comments as you say you were.  The same thing happens even on Christian forums.....sometimes the mods intervene, tell people to

calm down or even shut down the thread altogether.

Anything can influence our life...it is our reaction to things that makes the difference.  Or, lack of reaction.

Perhaps for you, at the moment, it was the right thing to do.  So I guess this op is kind of like a testimony regarding your personal observations with social platforms and interacting with the unsaved

I did notice that your Pastor or teacher, Shane Willard, has a facebook page and lots of photos of himself and a big church website.  So, it can't be all bad after all, right?   :noidea:

We are in the world as Jesus said...not OF it.  Facebook is a lovely cross section of the world and this forum is a lovely cross section of Christians.  Take from either what you will.

Perhaps the Lord "sends" some and 'pulls" some like the waves on the beach.  It keeps us fresh and fully under His guidance.

But, a fast from all technology?  oh my...     lol

good for you..

may we all be led and be right in our followings

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
