the scripture quoted by Jeseus concerning the endtimes the tribulation and the rapture saying to pray to be counted worthy of escaping the horrors of those days pretty much speaks for itself annd it indicates three things-1: that the tribulation will be far more devastating than we could possibly imagine otherwise we would not need to pray to escape.2 that the rapture is the great escape for his church as he has not appointed us to wrath. and 3 that not everyone is worthy to be taken so we must pray to be worthy and understand its not our works that make us worthy but our relationship with god.

I have heard mid trib and post trib believers mock pre tribs in my short time in faith. One of them is saying we just dont want to go through the tribulation. True enough we hope we dont have to go through it but not because of fear but because of how horrible its going to be.

Some ppl think they are strong enough or at least will be but if they saw the horror and the severity of it their hearts would fail them.

It is literally hell on earth if God made it last past 3 and half years no person would survive.

Do you see the world right now? sure we have lots of problems but for many life is okay we have food internet t.v. warm beds and life goes on each day is just another day. but i warn you this-It will all change in a single second on an ordinary day- a day you would never expect things would suddenly be horrific, The day the rapture takes place and hell takes over. you will then recall the scriptures that warned us but we did not heed the warnings.

Im not going to say how close the rapture is but I will say this- we must mold our hearts and deepen the bonds and relationship with god every day because the dangerous part is it all will happen out of nowhere and you will not see it coming.

If an enemy is going to launch a surprise missile attack and you did not prepare then unless your lucky you will not survive- The rapture will be the same and and will have no excuse because we were clearly warned

The Tribulation will be THE worst years on this planet. Anyone who thinks they will be strong enough to endure is only fooling themselves.  It will get so bad, so maddenly terrifying that people will be trying to commit suicide but won't be able to die.  When you sit and study through the seals, the trumpets and the bowls and read about the wrath of God, it is exhausting and there is no let up and it just gets worse and worse to the point that there  is almost nothing left.  Most of those who get saved will be martyred.

No one in their right mind could possibly look forward to it. Yeah, I am a pre tribber, but I also think there is room to be wrong and if I am wrong...   well, it is going to be one wild ride.

Hey fire-heart, how long have you been in the faith?

Yeah, no one wants to go through tribulation. That's why it is so important to stay in prayer and in the word when we go through it in our daily lives.

Mat 13:21 KJV - Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Peace

Hi fireheart,

When you are talking about `being worthy, ` are you referring to Luke 21: 36? There, Jesus is talking to Israel as they will have to go through the last 7 years of their chastisement. (Daniel`s 70 weeks of years)

I, personally like to focus on our precious Lord`s ability -

`Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, & to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,.....` (Jude 24)

Blessings, Marilyn.

I am not deserving of escape, no one is!

But I have been made Worthy of eternal reward through His blood.

The rapture is not an exit policy people, it is a heavenly reward for believers.

I don't believe it is coming any time soon because there is too much work to be done by us. If you want to hasten His coming, get to work and fulfill the command of Mathew 28:28. How do I know it won't be soon? He wants us working! If He did not, you would have died and gone to heaven the instant you were saved.

Soooo...if you are still breathing, you are not in heaven and you have work to do. Enough time for "harps and clouds" later. Last time I looked none of us were floating around on a cloud listening to heavenly music (no, NOT that way, it's illegal in most countries people).

Let's get to work instead of sitting on our backsides saying, "yes but I'm not sure what Jesus wants me to do, I need a sign" (I would do that in a whining accent if I could). A Sign? A SIGN? How's a big empty Blood. Stained. Cross. for a sign? Want more signs? Why, are we spiritually blind? ... You know what Jesus wants us to do, as a believer you know.

So let's do it. OK?

He gave us the lost as our inheritance. Why are we so recalcitrant in claiming them?

If it were $ we would have claimed, managed and spent our inheritance already.

Worthy?

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy 1 Peter 4:12-13

But By Grace

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:7-9

By God

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

I dont personally believe he is talking about having to go through the tribulation. However being worthy to go in the rapture differs between man and God. To man we have to be fully obedient live holy read the bible and pray everyday but with God to be worthy is your heart and relationship with him which is why a lot of ppl who dont get taken will be confused.

You are right about relying on gods ability, if we understood the situation of the rapture and us we would know that the only reason we could be taken is because of his love grace and mercy not because of who we are or what works we did or how holy we were

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
