Well since the word rapture is not biblical I could not vote. When ever the world ends I'm ready. How it happens I don't know. Where did the term rapture come from when it is not even mentioned in the BIBLE?

I too think it's very soon. I'm guessing within the next couple of years but seeing even Jesus doesn't know the hour how can we. So many signs point to the end. I see so many that will be left behind. We need to pray, the fields are white with harvest.

The WORD rapture is not on the Bible, but the DEFINITION of rapture is.

RAPTURE: act of being transported (Daniel Webster); to be caught away.

1THESSALONIANS 4:17

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:..."

BEAM ME UP JESUS!!! :-)

It's a beautiful day for the Lord to come again...could be today...could be tomorrow...could be next year... the important thing isn't what day or hour He is coming...the important thing is to be ready to go and not be caught asleep spiritually!

Trim those lamps...keep the oil flowing...the Bridegroom will open the door when the Father says it is time and those who are watching for Him will be gone! To be ever with the Lord :-)

when Jesus was telling the apostles aobut the things to come and what was to happen he talked about the things to happen in the end times. He talked about wars and rumors of wars and things to happen both on earth and in the heavens. Curiously he told them not to wory about it because before these things were to happen that they would be persicuted and such and Jerusalem would be trodden underfoot until the times of the gentiles were fulfilled.

Well the Nation of Israel became the rulling power over Jerusalem in the June-July time frame in 1967. There are scriptures that lead me to believe that once this end time starts all will come to pass within one generation.

From what I understand one generation is somewhere around 45 to 48 years on the average. While it is a bit foolish to start quoting dates it seems to me that people living in the time of 1967 will live to see the end of this "age" of things.

There are supposed to be signs in the stars and moon and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. I have been reading about sometime in December of 2012 we will pass through the centerline of our galaxy and some are questioning what that might cause. Don't know if anything at all, but just another small thing to take into consideration when pondering our short term future.

The core basis of a lot of the conspiracies going around are Luciferian in their origions and it is more than just possible that the beast of end times is alive and well on planet earth just awaiting it's raising out of the sea. Actually I have found it fastinating to watch things move from one year to the next as it all approaches it's final climax to throw itself on the world scene in the open dominating most if not all the whole world.

It's all in place just awaiting the time when the Father will allow it to start. Which in reality is the answer we seek here.

When it does start in earnist and all can see, remember not to be overtaken with surprise and grief, for the Lord will be following just behind and will take care of things. Jesus told the apostles and deciples in there time of trouble shortly to come, not to worry about it for, "even if they kill you, not a hair on your head will perish." Now that's something to ponder on....... Not to even fear death itself is just one of the things we can look forward to if we really really believe.....

I do..... do you?

Books have been written many times in the past (most of the 2000 years since christ died) making the end tiimes shortly to come and I fully understand that my thoughts are really just adding to the list of people who were looking for the coming of the Lord.

Well I have always seen the falicy of what most others were looking for over the past years, and understand why they are/were wrong. Trouble is I have no real way of knowing if I am as blind focused on the things I look for as the others. So I don't take myself too seriously. While I am still getting prepaired spiritually for the end to come and return of the lord, I am also planing a good long term reitrement hopefully starting in about 4 years. So, I must say that if I don't take myself toooooo' seriously, I'd highly recomend that you don't either :)

AMEN!

The times and dates are irrelevant, and deatails pointless. The world will end, for most people, in 80 years time. When they die

THATS the end of the world!!! not some flashy title of meteors crashing to earth and Jesus coming, our world ends when we die, and the descision is at Judgment

I also didn't vote, because I don't have a guess and it is of no concern to me. If I am ready then I am ready. I am not going to cram now if I failed in the past, hopefully the Lord will find me faithful. I think it is useless to guestimate when the rapture will happen. What will it add to your life to know when? I am glad I do not know the future. Praise God he saw fit to not let us know so that we are challenged to always be ready!

I don't think that I'll ever believe that I'm ready for the rapture or to go home to our Father. Maybe in the future I won't have this feeling that theres just so much left to do with so little time left. What I do know is ready or not my time here on earth will oneday end and it's not up to me to decide if I'm ready or not it's Gods.

God Bless You

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
