William Evens. He was professor of Bible at Moody Bible Institute in the 1860s, and it is written from the standpoint of the Bible, not dogmatic theology (from preface). He cites drawing on Torry, Strong, Patton, Knapp, Denny and Wood. PDF file. It is a good reference.
