Some details of which can be seen Short Description: Discussion of Historic Christian Theology with about 100 topics planned. Bible verses for a doctrine will be posted, Later, the topic will be discussed in the chatroom, and here in the Bible Study Group. More about the Forum Looks like the Chat event of the 5 Minute Theology, Session 1, will be and this date and time. I provided that link because it is a way to avoid confusion over time zone issues. You should be able to see it in your local time. Another way to view the time of the event, is with this countdown timer(which is also on the verses page). The first will be about the Word of God, the Bible itself, it's inspiration etc. There are nearly 100 planned topics in this series. If I have the stamina, and you all supply a little enthusiasm and interest, we should get through them all. This is called 5 Minute Theology, because that is typical of how long it takes me to read a typical topic from a written page. It could take a bit longer to paste this into the chat room, and for people to read it there, but it should still be pretty quick. If you plan to attend, you would do well to at least read the verses that will be referenced ahead of time, and perhaps print them out to have handy. The verse addresses and the verses themselves, can be seen here. At that page (assuming your browser and device are fully capable) you can see the Verses in NASB, NIV, and KJV version, and with a popup feature to see the verses in NASB95. There is also a search feature on the page, which allows you to see the verses in just about any version you would want to. The elaborate Verses Page took way too many hours to construct, and in the future it will be simpler. Here in the Forum More to come, still a work in progress. After the chat event, the topic will have a thread here for discussion as the forum participants see fit - with of course the stipulation that we expect good conduct. The first thread in the topic will be a synopsis of what was the topic of discussion in the chat room. However, I am not all that smart with computers, the smart things were done by others who made the timers etc. I just took their work and copy/pasted it for my purposes. You are welcome, for the work going into the study, but perhaps you should hold off there. It might not turn out that great and worthwhile in the end, and it remains to be seen on what my follow through will be like.
