I am familiar with the Constitution Party.  If I am not mistaken, they used to be the Taxpayer Party.  I do agree with them on most issues, but the problem is that they don't have enough support to be included on the ballot in North Carolina, and their candidates don't have a chance of being elected to anything.  In my state, it is either Republican, Democrat or Libertarian, and that is it.  I wind up voting Republican because I wouldn't consider the Democrat and because the Libertarian never has enough support to be competitive.

This is the problem!  However if they just got a small percentage of the vote -- something like 5 percent they could actually apply for taxpayer funded dollars to help finance their campaigning.

I agree with you, George. For me personally, my vote is no longer about "strategy". I have truly had it with the " a good enough reason to do something wrong" perspective. In the past I have NOT voted for people that better uphold the standards I'm looking for simply because they did not stand a chance to win. But now for me personally, I just want someone for which to vote that I can believe to do their best to restore this nation, no matter if they stand little chance at election. I will consider myself blessed just to have an opportunity to vote for the "right" person. The amount of "support" they have or don't have? That's all on US, the people, not the party. All any organized party can do is offer up someone that will be dedicated to uphold their platform. The Constitutional Party has done their job. Now I'll do mine.

I'm a bit disappointed in myself. George informed me this morning that this party has existed for years. I've known for a good while that "money" really does buy elections. Somehow, in the billions of dollars spent to elect the eVil in this country, very little must be available to the "right" people. I "try" to circumvent that system which serves literally to selling ourselves out to the enEmy for a price by paying close attention to the people our mass media outlets will NOT talk about. I am not paying close enough attention. I've let the media steer me away from the people that should be running this country by watching on my television what all that money buys: which is one lie after another.

I'm disappointed because I've been irresponsible. This party has existed for years, and this morning, a man that lives in Israel had to inform me of my own country's politics... a party I would have been supporting from it's beginning had I only known. So I am disappointed in myself, but also thankful that I might have someone I can vote for in the next election with a clear conscience afterward, win, lose or draw. From now on, I vote as responsibly as I can, adhering to a match of standards between the candidate and I, without thought to how much chance they have of winning. GOD, Himself will decide whether they should be elected, or not.

Again, my thanks for all this information...

My views are based upon the view "leave me alone and I will leave you alone", thus I am very much Libertarian. I am against the war on drugs and the war on poverty.

Marriage should be strictly a religious sacrament and if two or more people want certain rights and benefits they can create a domestic partnership, and I could not care less who makes up that partnership.

The tax code should be destroyed and either a flat tax or a consumption tax implemented. No more social engineering via the tax code, no mortgage deduction, no education deduction, no marriage benefits, none of that.

If my neighbor wants to smoke pot on his back porch why should I care and why should I be able to enjoy a nice glass of Sarah if he cannot do his thing.

Right of center libertarian, Pro-life, Pro-gun, Pro-Israel and strongly pro-free speech.

Pretty much sums me up too, although I agree with all the posts so far. I would describe myself as a Christian, Conservative Libertarian.

Silly auto-correct....should have been "Syrah", an amazing full bodied red wine.

I don't follow any one party line.  I am an independent voter who votes for the one who is closest to my beliefs in how the country should go.

I no longer believe there is enough difference between the two major parties to justify the term "lesser of two evils".

Not voting for a party or candidate because you feel they cannot win becomes a self fulfilling prophecy and a losing proposition.

In my opinion the only hope this country has is the sacrifice an election or two in order to break the stranglehold the two parties have on the country.

Remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different outcome.

Thanks for clearing that up.  I would NEVER have figured it out.  And I hate auto correct too....especially on my IPhone!  I have sent some of the silliest gibberish in history since I got that thing.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
