I just reactivated my Facebook page (my kids nagged me into it) and scrolling through it was quite an experience.  Do people really need to post every single thing they do?  And the constant selfies!  One old friend posted 16 in one day.  She's not a kid; she's in her mid forties and  just average looking but there she is ....in short shorts, tight dresses, low cut blouses in her car.  What?  I think this world has gone crazy.  I'm curious if it's just people I know or is this common to post pictures of yourself ad nauseum? This article makes some valid points.

Maybe they think that everything they do and themselves is great. You know this "It is all about me" world.I think I have observed more narcissistic people recently than ever before.

It's unbelievable what they post...and so BORING!  Either they really are narcissists or just really sad people with no lives.  Either way, it's disturbing.

Yea vanity and a need for validation. They post selfies then go back to see how many likes they got. The tend to base their self worth off it, I think.

You know, some folks like to take photos and post them. So what. Why so judgmental of them?

Out of all my friends there are only a couple b or three that post a lot of pictures of themselves.

No, no one's being judgmental of people that post pictures.  This thread is about people posting continuous, inappropriate and redundant photos of themselves on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.  Trying to figure them out is not judging them.  People I've known for years seem to have lost their minds on social media lately.  I'm just not getting it.

Have you ever posted a picture of yourself?  I can truthfully say that I have never posted even ONE.  I don't see what the motivation is but going overboard annoys your 'friends'.
