The Bible does say that Iran will attack Israel, but it also says that It will be a dismal and colossal failure because the Lord fights for Israel and that is better than any nuke.  The Bible says that God will deliver Israel from that attack.   Iran may attack, but Israel will still be here after it's all said and done, according to the Bible.

So you believe it is a good thing for Israel to target and attack nations that aren't attacking Israel simply because it appears Israel is going to lose a fight with someone else?  An attack, the shear size of which,  Israel itself has said will most likely destroy life on earth?

1. The first thing to clearly understand is that the Arab nations surrounding Israel have vowed to drive Israel "into the sea" (exterminate Israel).

 

2. The second thing to clearly undertand is that without Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah would be toothless, i.e. Iran is the real enemy of Israel.

 

3. The third thing to clearly understand is that it was in the national interest of the USA and all Western nations to refuse Iran any nuclear capablity.  Instead they put Israel under a real threat of extermination.

 

4. The fourth thing to clearly understand is when a nation's survival is at stake, the only option is a PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE against the FACILITIES AND EMPLACEMENTS which have been built to destroy that nation.

 

Israel would not attack Iran per se, but would destroy its military capabilities and hopefully its evil government, which actively promotes terror throughout the world.  And Israel should indeed do so.  If Washington D.C. were under the same identical threat, what do you think would happen?

 

 

Ezra, we aren't talking about conventional weapons, we're talking about nuclear weapons.      The use of nuclear weapons goes far, far beyond the destruction of a nation's military capabilities and government.    And we are talking about the indiscriminate use of nuclear weapons against nations not attacking Israel because of another nation that is and Israel finds itself losing.

So, let me understand this  . . .  one arab nation attacks Israel and Israel is losing,  so Israel is justified in destroying ALL arab nations with nuclear holocaust because of the actions of one?

I hope people realize that with 200+ nukes, Israel could take out a huge portion of the worlds population.

This strategy is call MAD, or Mutual Assured Destruction. Since Palestine and other countries in the area have sworn to the annhilation of Israel and all Jewish people. They believe Israel has nuclear weapons and could and would use them if annihilation could happen, so the Palestinians are reluctant to attempt to really annihilate Israel because Palestine would be annhilated too. Another name for the weapon is a dooms day device. Again, this strategy is used to prevent an attack. Israel is out numbered by the surrounding countries who want to kill all Jews. The Arab leagues population is around 365 million people. The population of Israel is about 8 million. So Israel is surrounded and grossly out numbered by people who hate Jews and want them all dead. (Why do you not call the people who want to kill all Jews evil?)

 

 

MAD has one serious, gigantic, flaw.     It is based on the existence of a threat.    For MAD to work, the threat must work.

 

What if one side decides to launch?

 

Then the threat has failed, and MAD is a complete failure at that point.

Iran is biblical Persia.  Ezekiel 38: 1-5.   Iran will be part of a coalition of nations that will descend on Israel in a failed attempt to destroy Israel.  .

Yes, nuclear weapons have amazingly destructive power.   That's why Israel uses them as an effective deterrent against an invasion.    Israel is outnumbered 100 to 1.   So nukes offset that imbalance.  Israel's nukes and the certifiable threat that exists isn't something the Arab nations can afford to ignore and they are obviously unwilling to risk testing Israel's resolve, given that Israel has whipped the Arabs at least 6 times already.

 

 

The other flaw in your argument is that we are not talking about an indiscriminate use of nuclear weapons on Israel's part.  Israel  has never used its weapons indiscriminately.   Israel's nukes are only aimed Arab capitals, not at European nations as your lying definition of the Sampson Option claims.   You don't know what the Sampson Option is, and as such are not going to be allowed to use that definition as the working definition in this thread.

MAD works because Israel's nukes have prevented the Arabs from risking another invasion.   Not sure how you can say it is flawed.  It has worked perfectly, actually.
