All of us witness as we live our lives......   that is probably the most effective witnessing there is.

Ofen I am wondering not what Jesus has to say and he has the right to say something. Because he had to live his life here on earth, and he did good, perhaps the good we can not do our selfs today. He said to the people, knowing not every one may understan what I say to them, but they will believe in me because of the miracles, and so it happen and no one could dublicate his miracles.

This present times, we as believers in Jesus Christ, from all deferent denominations from the west to the east, all of us who celebrate Easter under deferent baners, and unherr to deferent theological and doctrinal deferences, but united under one event when we celebrate EASTER. If we restrict our selfs to Good Works only, and we do the same good works as the Jewis people, and perhaps the Moslem and or the Antichrist people, who may try to find solash in this life in good works and charity, and also, been very proud of their upright living.

If only let our good works as a witness, don't we give a choice to the masses who would like to joint a group of good people just to pick a number out from the pool.

we don't need Paul to tell us about some of the Gentiles who he met and had a very good conscience, we have met many people in our life of the above groups who have a very good consience, and are very very charitable, sorry I left out the new age people.

Philip when he met the Ethiopian fella in the dessert, he did not do anything good or charitable, perhaps only scared him, approching him as a stranger (re: to thiefs). But perhaps the fella had a sword and he must have been a good warrior.

And this Fella did not have any changes to witness Philip's goodnes.   Or perhaps he was also a very good fella, and he could compete with Philips goodnes.

Bravo to Philip, in the absens of any good recomentasions, he increase the ship fold of Jesus Christ.

I am curious to know how other people witness. Something I have not done lately, but God has been clearly speaking to my heart.  My pastor says to shine basically, and I know that is definitely a part of it, but I don't see how anybody relates that to Christ, unless they understand the reason for your light.  Then years ago I've been told to, (if your appropriately walking with Christ) that people will want what you have.  I guess then you must throw in mention of your faith to connect it to that.  Well, anyway, I would really like to know what other people do!  I believe people have different ways of doing it probably.  I don't believe in a one size fits all in Christianity.  Otherwise we'd all be the same.  How boring would that be!

Dear sister Pamelasv,

Grace and mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Witnessing to Christ is not something we do from time to time. Instead, we should be witnesses to Christ at all times.:

·        “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:” (Colossians 1.9-12).

·        “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (1Corinthians 10.31).

It is not an activity that we carry out as if it were an extra job, that is, with a defined place and time. It is about living what Jesus did within us. Wherever we pass, we must give place to Christ to show the people around us and see all the beauty that he is able to give to the hearts of those who give themselves to him.

·        “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1.8).

May Jesus enrich our interior with his virtue and love, so that we may be, wherever we are, true images and likenesses of the Eternal.

To witness is to give testimony. But are many saved by testimony? I say none are. Not one. For no witness giving testimony moves a juror to a verdict upon them self.

What does happen is the Holy Spirit moves upon each person with a specific call to that person at the time that is foreknown and predestined as determined by God. Each individual then responds either by becoming  humbled and broken or by being rebellious and ever stronger into their own delusion.

So why witness at all, why plead with the unsaved? Because it pleases God that we do so, as He has commanded of us. Thank God I do not save anyone, lest I become a boaster of myself and then have to repent of that sin. My testimony is  before all that may see as they cross my path, they may reject me or they may puzzle over me, and I will share of God with them in word and in deed. For it is commanded that we do all things in a manner worthy to please God.

If no one that I have talked to  or been around ever comes to the Lord  in repentance of their sin, it will not be that I have done less than I could, anymore than if everyone suddenly  became dancing in the Spirit nut cases in my presence would I be any better the witness.

It just doesn't much matter the details of  "witnessing", tracts declaring otherwise not withstanding.

I learned that at a Billy Graham crusade, where the message was ever so humble, not especially eloquent at all, yet the Spirit moved early and people arose by the tens of thousands all wanting salvation. Yes they did the walk  down an aisle, said a prayer, and met with counselors all doing diligent service to their Lord, in His name- but it was the Holy Spirit that drove them all to their repentance. It was ever so obvious, for even Billy Graham  whom I was just a very few feet away from was startled by the lifting of the people  a feeling of a physical atmosphere change and the stirring and the approaching. I had to get out of the way as they came and came and came  to repent. He I think cut his talk short even, in order to catch up with the Holy Spirit's work being done about him.

So let's be  obedient children of God,  doing all things that we do to the glory of God. It pleases Him when we do.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
