Hello brothers and sisters , I have to ask this question, for all of the thousands of churches we have today and the denominations and different views and ways divided with the word of God ,and other Gods, how do we know who is the true and real church of today?

just with the Christian  churches alone, we have divisions due to interpretations and of different view points of what the scriptures says.

Why would this be, if we are all serving who we believe to be the God and creator of our beings, it also seems that what jesus said or taught  to the people , it is taking into many different roads, so why is there so much confusion, and no one able to all come to a agreement of who we serve and why we serve,

I know that satan has infiltrated most of the churches , with religious non sense, and man made rituals, and systematic institutional businesses and some have found ways to prostitute God for the money, that can be made easy. if you get enough people to believe a lie,, by deceiving the un learned and easy prey. we all know ,and we see this,

the largest churches today , that I see from my view, is the television large churches, but it is not jesus they teach, but prosperity and wealth , to those that pray for riches and ,high pay jobs and lots of money , and success in this world ,we see it is about money ,power and material things, we all see this , that they have ears to hear , but not of sound doctrines but lies, the truth is not there.

But getting down to the Christian churches , the bible teaching churches, there is a lot of deceptive and false teachings that are not inline with gods word, but inline with the modern day worldy views and how to prosper in todays world ,

when we all know that jesus, the real jesus of the bible was hated by this world and killed and tortured , and jesus tells us in advance that we are going to have tribulation, and the world will hate us also,

So is there a true ,bible teaching church out there that is teaching the real jesus,? for there will be many antichrists in the last days.

why so many Christian churches , is it confusion of interpretation of the scriptures, un able to come to the real truth of God?and all agree?

and wolves in sheeps clothing, that will come and scatter the sheep, and teach doctrines of evil and demonic wicked ness.

A true Bible church will be a New Testament church (see the pattern in Acts chapter 2) which proclaims the true Gospel and the whole counsel of God, but makes no allowance for the traditions and false teachings of men. The  main goals of such a church will be:

1. That God is glorified in all things, and all things are done decently and in order

2. That Christ is exalted above all things, and that He the actual Head of the church

3. That the Bible alone is the sole authority for all doctrine and practice

4. That souls are saved regularly and that the saints are edified continuously

5. That worship is in Spirit and in truth, and not in rites and rituals

6. That the Royal Priesthood of believers is practiced, and each one fully exercises their spiritual gifts.

Question: "Which church is the true church?"

Answer:
Which church—that is, which denomination of Christianity—is the “true church”? Which church is the one that God loves and cherishes and died for? Which church is His bride? The answer is that no visible church or denomination is the true church, because the bride of Christ is not an institution, but is instead a spiritual entity made up of those who have by grace through faith been brought into a close, intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9). Those people, no matter which building, denomination, or country they happen to be in, constitute the true church.

In the Bible, we see that the local (or visible) church is nothing more than a gathering of professing believers. In Paul’s letters, the word church is used in two different ways. There are many examples of the word church being used to simply refer to a group of professing believers who meet together on a regular basis (1 Corinthians 16:92 Corinthians 8:111:28). We see Paul’s concern, in his letters, for the individual churches in various cities along his missionary journey. But he also refers to a church that is invisible—a spiritual entity that has close fellowship with Christ, as close as a bride to her husband (Ephesians 5:2532), and of which He is the spiritual head (Colossians 1:18Ephesians 3:21). This church is made up of an unnamed, unspecified group of individuals (Philippians 3:6;1Timothy 3:5) that have Christ in common.

The word church is a translation of the Greek word ekklesia, meaning “a called–out assembly.” The word describes a group of people who have been called out of the world and set apart for the Lord, and it is always used, in its singular form, to describe a universal group of people who know Christ. The word ekklesia, when pluralized, is used to describe groups of believers who meet together. Interestingly enough, the word church is never used in the Bible to describe a building or organization.

It is easy to get ensnared by the idea that a particular denomination within Christianity is “the true church,” but this view is a misunderstanding of Scripture. When choosing a church to attend, it is important to remember that a gathering of believers should be a place where those who belong to the true church (the spiritual entity) feel at home. That is to say, a good local church will uphold the Word of God, honoring it and preaching faithfully, proclaim the gospel steadfastly, and feed and tend the sheep. A church that teaches heresy or engages in sin will eventually be very low on (or entirely bereft of) those people that belong to the true church—the sheep who hear the voice of the Shepherd and follow Him (John 10:27).

Members of the true church always enjoy agreement in and fellowship around Jesus Christ, as He is plainly revealed in His Word. This is what is referred to as Christian unity. Another common mistake is to believe that Christian unity is just a matter of agreeing with one another. Simple agreement for the sake of agreement does not speak the truth in love or spur one another on to unity in Christ; rather, it encourages believers to refrain from speaking difficult truths. It sacrifices true understanding of God in favor of a false unity based on disingenuous love that is nothing more than selfish tolerance of sin in oneself and others.

The true church is the bride of Christ (Revelation 21:2922:17) and the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:121 Corinthians 12:27). It cannot be contained, walled in, or defined by anything other than its love for Christ and its dedication to Him. The true church is, as C. S. Lewis put it, “spread out through all time and space and rooted in eternity, terrible as an army with banners.”

A classic loaded question, designed to pin the issue back on the individual rather than keeping the topic open by referring to scripture alone.

Another classic armchair analysis which has nothing to do with the topic OR scripture.

I agree with both descriptions given by Ezra and BoPeep.

Acts 2 is definitely a guide.

No, Im curious. Given the topics she has posted lately, I am curious what type of doctrinal background she has. It is not designed to trap anyone, or do anything other than help me understand the point of view of this member.

The condition of the churches today is well described in Rev 18:2 A Babylonian bedlam.

Ancient Babylon incorporated or allowed the gods of other nations and tribes which it had conquered, to be all mixed into a multi cultural and multi -god society. Sound familiar. And of course in this climate, they introduced the great golden (logi) image that was worshiped above all. It represented humanism, the ultimate good of human ruling, as above the Lord God.

The other aspect of Babylon was it's mysticism, which is basically worshiping devils, as Revelation states.

Both mysticism and humanism are the doctrines of devils, they detract from Christ and seek to separate people, get them rely on human resources and knowledge instead of the Holy Spirit, bring in false versions of the Bible, by first introducing the subtle NKJV and ending up with paraphrases equivalent to Mad magazine, and divide Bible truth seekers, by over quoting scripture, fanaticism, heretic hunting, false doctrine, and personal attacks on believers.

Being deceived, is a result of not knowing the scriptures, and having not experienced genuine conversion. This is plain when coming into contact with those who belong to the secret societies and churches loyal to the Roman church.

The true Church is everyone who has been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.  Church membership is a regenerate membership, and has nothing to do with what denomination you hail from.   All true Christians have been born again and are filled with the Holy Spirit.

So, you're saying there IS no true church ? I think I'd have to disagree with that ( if that is in fact what you are saying ). BTW, thanks for going on topic bro.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
