I am not sure of all you are saying about high priest. It is truly going over my head.

The idea that God gave additional law at Sinai, which was not written down is no different IMO. This spoken law, was said to supplement the ambiguousness of the written law. It also was given to an elite group. Which to me smacks of Gnosticism as well.

Sarah appears to say the same thing. these revelations, are to aid the ambiguities of the written scriptures.

Neither claims are true imo. Certainly not the claims of the Pharisees of some oral revelation given, along with a written revelation. I do not believe either were given these extra scriptural truths..............

Read the Talmud Kwik, the Talmud records as though God himself appeared at those meetings. With manifestations to determine the validity of one Rabbi or another. And additional writings added as time went on....Huge volumes accumulated as a result.

Trees appearing upon command to show one correct, another commanding a wall to appear etc etc.. on and on it went..........

It is all to the very same end kwik. Jesus said to not do as they do...............She is doing as they did. Seeking to speak by authority apart from the written. The same end result to those that listen to them as an authority from God.

Which he mimicks true things. It is not so much the Gnats of insignificant differences, but the commonality of them.

For those who home in on women being deceived because they are women. What excuse does a writer by the name of Andy Capp have? Jim Jones? David Koresh? Marshall Applewhite? All of these are guess what? Men. And don't forget Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russell, and many more who are all men.

And by the way it was not a women who denied knowing Jesus 3 times, but a man. And it was not a women who betrayed him, but a man. And it was a woman who fully believed what Jesus was predicting about his death before it happened. How did she believe? She poured perfume on his head in preparation. Don't believe me? Read Matthew 26:12 The men couldn't except it and didn't get it until long after everything happened.

I don't doubt the author of the book is deceived, but is it really necessary to blame women for everyone else being deceived? Men are just as easily deceived as women are. Some people are quick to point out women's wrong doings while ignoring the wrong doings of men. They point out that women should follow every old testament law, while ignoring laws that apply to men equally. Please stop bringing women to the stoning pit to be stoned so to speak, it is not helpful. It men vs women mentality. It is showing superiority instead of loving one another as we are told to do.

    May I ask what you are referencing,I didn't notice anyone's post that honed in on "women" being easily deceived,as if they are more apt to, be gullible or naive?Personally do not believe "gender"has anything to do with it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 Good for you  Joline . Sometimes bullying can be dressed up in polite clothes , then is is more difficult to counter, than the likes of Shiloh ,who does'nt dissimulate ,  but is very direct which I prefer. .
