Actually, I presented you actual, facts, where the book of enoch contradicts the Bible. If your only answer to that, is to attack me, it shows just how "strong" your footing is. I can see, that your so set in that book, that nothing will sway your opinion, So I won't even try. Its a shame you don't hold the Bible in the same high regard.

And I presented to you that your "actual facts" were not so factual at all, and none of them contradicted the Bible. You seem to think that if something in the Book of 1 Enoch is not found in the Bible, that makes it contradictory. But this is not what the word contradictory means.

And saying that I "don't hold the Bible in the same high regard" as Enoch is plain false witness against me.

other one covered the subject well. 1 Enoch can be a valuable source for mature Christians, when discernment is used. Most parts of it are well-attested by the various Ethiopian manuscripts; some parts are vague and/or disputed, and therefore untrustworthy.

actually, if you had bothered to read the passages I listed-as well as the Bible verses I listed-you will see they are in direct contradiction to each other. Since, you refuse to do that because of your biased view towards that heretical book, then I see no reason to continue this debate. Just because you refuse to look at the evidence doesnt mean it doesnt exist. I never once made the claim "that since it isnt found in the Bible means its not true" That is you, putting words in my mouth. I said, the book of enoch contradicted the Bible-andl isted three of HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS, of such contradictions. What i said was Since those places that are I'd direct contradiction to the Bible arnt true, then its a safe bet the stuff it adds-like that angel-arnt true. There is no angel over repentance-that is contradiction. The other angel the pheneus whatever-fabrication. Each of the examples I brought up are doctrines in clear violation of scripture. You want to keep believing in this tool of Satan? Be my guest. But be warned it is a lie. I could go chapter by chapter, verse by verse, however, seeing as you would rather attack me, put words in my mouth, and ignore the evidence right in front of your face, I see no point in continuing this debate, we both know the book of Enoch is heretical-yes you know it to. The difference is, you don't want to admit it. So, The evidence is out there. anyone reading it can make their own Choice. I wish you a Merry Christmas, Im out.

No, I don't presume I'm stating fact. That is when it was written according to most scholars. And im not saying its been corrupted-its been corrupted from the start. And your presumption that revelations is corrupted is just that a presumption, and a false one at that. All the Bible from Genesis to revelation is the inspired word of God.

The book of enoch directly contradicts the Bible in so many ways one can't even count. That's what I'm basing my views on. Not when it was written or how. It contradicts the Bible, Gods holy word, so therefore it is a lie. Pure and simple. There is no justification for using it.

You quoting some unnamed scholars is not proof sir!  Even if you named everyone it is still not proof.  Look up the definition of proof and facts.

I can name of a lot. But beyond that, I can, and have, named off enough contradictions between the book of enoch and the Bible to say, without a shadow of a doubt that this book is not only not canon, but heresy. And that, is in the end all that matters.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
