the Torah is the law of God, and it was given to moses , and written by the finger of God,

moses gives the instruction and commandments of God to the people for God was with the people , and held there hand in the time of old,

Jesus comes in and walks with man , and teaches us about the laws , and gives us a more dynamic and Magnified view of what the law originally was, ?

so as it was said, in the commandment , thy shalt not commit adultery , but Jesus went a step further and said, if you look at a women with your eyes and thoughts then, you are guilty of the same,

Jesus said I did not come to abolish the laws and the prophets , but I came to fulfil , and that not one jot or mark shall be changed ,until heaven and earth passes away , and that the word of God will be forever, even after heaven and earth passes away ,

but what I want to place here for you ,is that Jesus came to show us, that whats in our minds, can be the same as actions, and so where your heart and mind is , also will it be what you are , as far , as being  of God or of the world ,

our sinful nature will give us thoughts unable to control and we are in need to bring it all to Jesus  for the law is more intense then ever before,

so as the law of moses from God showed us as a school master we cannot go with out breaking this , and needing forgiveness, we see that we cannot escape Gods commandments and laws from our minds, and so the power of the mind and how we condition it , is a key to understanding God,

in another topic I said true believers should not be watching television and secular shows, and hearing secular music, for it all gets through to the eyes and the ears and then we need to deal with it, can we serve God , honestly in truth and in spirit  ?, of our minds heart and soul , if we are following the world and its doctrines and teachings, that are against the will of God , for to love the world is to be a enemy of God,

and we being true and real believers the saints the called out ones, it takes discipline and action on our part to be in obedience, and to abide inchrist , whom we are now crucified with ? we are the temple and the holy spirit dwells with in us, but we are in the world but cannot come to be subjected to the rule of the world , for no one can also serve two masters ,

so what I am getting at , is today the so called Christian believers that call themselves this, are not following the commandments or following anything that the bible tells us to do , we are about our selves and sinning willingly and saying its okay , and not making any efforts to follow , and do what He said

for we are concern what others will say and what they think of us , over what God has ruled for us as instruction, so we are believing rejecters ,

which makes us luke warm if we are not following , its about the mind , and what we put into it , and where our heart is , where is your heart and what are you letting get into your minds, ?

the world has got your minds in electronic and entertainment  and the worries of the world , and its not focused on Jesus !

Jesus said it would not pass away until like the universe was gone.... not one iota would pass away...

The universe is still here.

He said it would be easier for the universe to pass away than for the law to pass away UNTIL it had been fulfilled.

no that is absolutely incorrect, Jesus said He did not come to abolish or take away the law, but to fulfill, your misleading in your own opinion, and its not biblical. if He did not take it away , or abolish it, and if He did He would have told  us this is what I am going to do ,  so listen to what the Spirit says to the church if Jesus did not come to abolish, then it is not taken away , and so it is not gone with , read it but don't read in to it, Jesus Gave grace where the old law of Sin and Death only could not accomplish, all the rest remains, this is truth ,

and this ties into the dispensationalism, that we are being saved differently then the jews ? and that He is treating jews different from the church of today , it is not , we have been deceived to believe a lie to separate both , you cannot separate Gods people , jew or alien , period.

God gave Moses the instructions/commandment of God to the people of God which was Israel. The laws are specifically spoken to the sons of Israel.

When Jesus came, He came first to Israel. Because Jesus was born Jewish (which fulfills some of the Messianic Prophesy in the OT/Tenakh), Jesus was born obligated to the Mosaic law. If Jesus had violated the Mosaic law, He would have sinned.

In the sermon called the sermon on the mount, Jesus is speaking to children of Israel about the law of Moses. He is showing that the approach to keeping the law has to be from the heart. (In the OT, the children of Israel were criticized by God for doing the law, but their hearts not being in it).

Everything that the children of Israel did, and the faults of the children of Israel, are faults common to all people so there are lessons which can be learned. The bigger mistake is to point at the faults of the children of Israel, without realizing everyone, including Christians, stumble in the same way.

Now, do Christians sin. YES. Any truly born again Christian has the Holy Spirit, and is a new creation. The new creation has a desire to serve God. Sometimes, out of our previous thoughts which have not been erased, we stumble. But, the biggest difference between a person who is born again and a person who does not have a new nature, is the person with a new nature will be changed while a person with the sin/old man/old nature will continue to live in their sins.

Now as far as entertainment, I will speak for myself. Since I have worked with some missions groups, one missions group wants the people who work for them (I don't work for them but with them), to be familiar with pop culture. That means music, books and movies, as well as some popular games. All of this is to know what people are watching and doing, and using pop culture to explain Jesus. It is very similar to what Paul did with the Temple of the un-named God.

added: about the title, some think there was no mercy or grace in the law. Both exist in the Mosaic law, but the Mosaic law does not save. Jesus did not add grace to the law, He brought a New Covenant in which entry is based entirely on God's mercy and grace.

Very true. Being in active serious churches to have fellowship with like minded believers is a good way to help because we end up encouraged and accountable. So much easier trying to live a 'holy' life when your around others that are trying to live that way too. Then you can openly talk about your faith and they get it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
