Does that show that you don't trust yourself to manage things for your own benefit? What would have caused you to feel untrustworthy? Don't tell me, just a thought.

I don't feel untrustworthy. I don't understand why you are posting this.

Last year, I had what I would consider to be an experience with the Holy Spirit, and it changed my life. I had left the faith, and was an atheist during that time, and it changed everything. I became born again, and it has been something that I never experienced when I was a Christian before I left the faith a few years ago. I pray, and have a deep relationship with Jesus now, but sometimes...I still focus on stupid things, things of this world. In prayer one night, I felt God's still small voice say...''you are human, this is why you sometimes focus on the world.'' It gave me comfort, but I don't want to focus on the world, I want to stay focused on Jesus always. It was seemingly easy right after my experience last year, and every day I'm grateful for my new found faith, but what I mean by being caught up in the world...is worry. I still worry about things that I shouldn't worry about, for God is in control. I know He is, but then, why do I worry? I worry over losing my job, or not being a good enough wife for my fiance, etc...these types of things. Can anyone relate? I pray about this, and ask for Jesus' strength to overcome worry, but it seems to be something that is my nemesis. Do any of you wrestle with worry, and how do you let it go, and let God take it from you?

We must have faith, but many things are not done by faith alone, we must be competitive at the work place, continuously upgrading our skills, been on top of things. Making our selfs productive.

Trying not to offend others, people hold gradges and they keep it to themselves.

Save a litle money, so you have a financial pillow.

We have obligations to our faith and also to people around us.

Go to the movies, instant of the prayer meeting sometime. (that's mine).

( I wanted to graduate by faith alone, I learn my lesson that's what I mean not by faith alone).

This is my opinion, which I don't follow to a t.

We learn not to worry, but not by becoming negligent.

Hope that may help, and that

 I am not impolite.

Because, worry is way of trying to do damage control, it is about self preservation. It is about saving oneself. Does that mean we have to be reckless to enjoy life? Some people live that kind of life. Why? because they do not want to miss out on life. So they do a lot of sport, work hard, and generally keep too busy to avoid old and dead. Nothing wrong with that. But the Christian faces fear, all fear, and lives a life which is secure on Christ. They don't have to run across in front of a fast train to prove that they can cheat death. I'm not saying you are like that, but just to show how people will challenge what they are afraid of by playing with danger, whether physical or moral danger.

So people try to create safety and security for themselves. If people lack confidence in whatever they are doing on life, then they tend to worry, because they feel that the might be missing out on something that makes them feel complete and satisfied.

The Bible says that the fear of death is the bottom line of all fears, and that people are subject to worry and burdens all their lifetime, because of their fears.

And as I was saying to you, do you worry because you feel that you are going to let yourself down, like you have in the past? If so, then you can be confident that Christ is on your side for success.

I was full of fear until I began to place my dependence upon God.  After beginning to rely upon an infinite God to show me salvation from any situation I began to out grow fear.

Fear still works to drive me but its grip is very weak for I answer fear by as did Hananniah, Azariah and Michael.  If it be Gods will to save me praise God but if not then praise God.  I cannot fight against God nor do I want to.  But if God be for me then who can be against me?

I conclude then that my job is to seek to be in the will of God always for even death is over come by God who can do all things!

The song "Rock of Ages" pretty much says all you need.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
