As reported earlier by TRUNEWS, Saudi officials said their decision to send in [to Syria] ground troops was “irreversible”, despite Thursday night’s agreement between Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov for a cessation of hostilities.

Several Russian government officials have warned Saudi Arabia any military ground operation in Syria would be a declaration of war.
