So, obviously to some he has given the ability to understand His Word, but I'm pretty sure that the majority of misinterpretations of God's Word are not the fault of the person who is teaching and reading His Word , but because of a lack of grace given to them to understand it.

For instance, there is a scripture verse where Paul says "all things have become lawful for me".

Another verse that says " all shall be saved." Or "ask anything of the father in my name and it will be done for you".  Or when called " good teacher" Jesus said "why do you call me good, the only one who is good is God"... and many more that people are confused by.

The thing is , what one scripture verse says at one point in scripture , a person can find another scripture that says the opposite.

There are many theologians who dedicated themselves and their lives to prayer, fasting, and seeking the truth, and were led to opposite views , while sincerely believing the Holy Spirit led them to those views, and having scriptural basis for why they declare it to be so.

God could annoint all seekers with understanding to bring unity , which would bring more souls to salvation and glorify him so much more, and make Christianity so much more powerful and credible force on earth.

Why has he chosen not to give this grace that is so easy and free for him to grant, which would have nothing but positive results?

Hi spiderman 1917,

Very important questions there. The Lord by His Holy Spirit is bringing the Body of Christ into all the truth of the Lord, His character & His purposes. Over the years He has raised up different ministries to bring a certain clarification of truth -

* Salvation by faith in the finished work of Christ.

* Baptism in water as a public declaration of this.

* Infilling of the Holy Spirit to guide us in our daily lives.

* Understanding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

* Understanding of the Ministry gifts of the ascended Lord.

* Finally to come the understanding of the full purposes for the different groups - The Body of Christ, Israel & the Nations.

Thus you can see that the Lord has been faithfully giving different ministries to the Body of Christ to lead us into all truth. Across the Body of Christ generally we believe all the truths so far & there is one final truth to be clarified.

So do you appreciate all the truths I have mentioned, as many, many people have died standing for those truths. Yes we can see so much error & confusion, but that is mainly in regards to the last truth to be clarified. It is up to us to receive the truth as against the error.

The Lord will bring the unity of faith when the last truth has been clarified. It will be amid much opposition. So the storm is brewing, are we holding fast to the `Head,` or the world system, or....

Marilyn.

There's too much contrary to Scripture to address here and now,

but the answer really is pure and simple from Jesus Himself;

 Yahweh's Good Pleasure, Yahweh's WORD:

Matthew 11:25Expanded Bible (EXB) ((all from biblegateway . com ))

Jesus Offers Rest to People

25 At that time Jesus said, “I ·praise [bless; thank; acknowledge] you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the people who are wise and ·smart[learned; intelligent].

But you have ·shown [revealed] them to ·those who are like little children [L little children; infants; C those with a childlike faith].

Expanded Bible (EXB)

LUKE 10:21

KJ21    In that hour Jesus rejoiced in Spirit and said, “I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight.

ASV    In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well-pleasing in thy sight.

AMP    In that very hour He was overjoyed and rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and He said, “I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things [relating to salvation] from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants [the childlike and untaught]. Yes, Father, for this way was [Your gracious will and choice, and was] well-pleasing in Your sight.

CJB    At that moment he was filled with joy by the Ruach HaKodesh and said, “Father, Lord of heaven and earth, I thank you because you concealed these things from the sophisticated and educated, yet revealed them to ordinary people. Yes, Father, I thank you that it pleased you to do this.

Why Father dont teach us everything, we NEED to know, today, right now?

Hebrew 4:12For the word of God is
living and active, sharper than any
two-edged sword, piercing to the
division of soul and of spirit, of
joints and of marrow, and discerning
the thoughts and intentions of the
heart.

Word of God = truth, wisdom

once  did ask Father - why you dont teach me everything i need to know right now? why all that learning need so much time?

He told me - if you have a little kid and you have a sharp knife, will you give it to yours child?
me - no
He - why?
me - he may cut himself, maybe even die
He - thats why I dont teach you everything right now - truth is very sharp knife, you will get hurt badly, maybe even die...to know more, you must grow in understanding, get stronger spiritually to handle that sharp knife right, to not hurt yourself. that takes time.

when Father told me, that growing takes time i told Him - but all that time i could already do something, be useful. that time, i learn wisdom, is lost! its years of losted time!!!

then Father told me - I AM MASTER OF TIME! I CONTROL TIME! DONT BE WORRIED ABOUT TIME! I DID MADE IT FOR REASON!

i dont know reason yet, but i trust Him.

Because Jesus said we have to come THROUGH him.  The WORD of God.  Not through the back door.  There are shepherds for hire who care not for the flock.

The true shepherd is CHRIST, and we have to come through the apostles whom he chose.  Their teachings and instructions are recorded for us in the holy scriptures, and this is where we follow.

Theologians are men, ordained by men.  They are not perfect because they are only men.  They all argue with each other and vary in opinion too.  The apostles are ordained by Christ, and sent out into the world. They all agree. in doctrine.

Nothing can be added to what we are already given, or taken away.

God wants us to seek his Word personally, already recorded for us in the scriptures to find the all the treasures.  He wants us to individually go on the treasure hunt, so we can feed for ourselves, and not just trust others that have, because then this will leave out the holy Spirit's job, or make us lazy, leaving ourselves open to be deceived.

I understand that giving perfect understanding to the immature and foolish can be a double edged sword they misuse and cut themselves or someone else.

However, as I said there are people who have dedicated their entire life to the study of Scripture and prayers from the Holy Spirit for guidance, and that they may use that understanding not only to help themselves but to guide others to truth.

So many of these people who have spent the greatest portion of their time, energy, and life into the pursuit of God and truth are led to opposite beliefs that they are convinced are true, and go to their grave believing so.

If they prayed to the Holy Spirit for guidance and through the study of Scripture and much prayer, that was what they discern the Holy Spirit was telling them, then they are not at fault.  They trusted that the Holy Spirit descended upon them as God promised and that he was guiding them as God promised.

They prayed for understanding, enlightenment, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and so God choosing not to give them those graces   is in the end what is the biggest factor into why they fell into heresy and mislead others.

Someone here recently said false Christians are the biggest enemies of Christ, who misuse His Word and His name.

Who is the authority or person who has set themselves up as the authority to declare who is a false and who is a true Christian ? If both the one accused of being false and the one who claims to be true can both point to scripture verses that back up why they believe what they believe,, how are they at fault for believing what they believe the Holy Spirit told them to believe through the study of his word.  How are their followers at fault?

So how can we be very angry or offended by "false Christians," if God has chosen not to give people understanding of who a true or false Christian is?

If a person says that it is faith alone that  saves a person and not works, they can point to scripture that backs up what they believe.

If a person says good works are needed to be saved, they can point to a scripture verse that says" faith without works is dead, as the body without the soul is dead, so is faith without works."

So, if someone we accused of being a false Christian has scripture to back up why they believe what is the opposite of what we believe, we should not condemn them as being a false christian , because for all we know, it could be us that have been misled.

To have the right answers one must die to themselves and to the world they are in....
The pathway is Scripture alone placed in an empty (new born) vessel- precept upon precept line upon line.
The process is called sanctification being merely more Christ like in all that is said and done...
Love, Steven

Father told me once - I dont let die (He means second death) ANYONE, who LOVE TRUTH.

if you do, you will soon see, who lie, who have some understanding and who.. love truth.

It is Gods desire to bless us with all spiritual blessings of truth and knowledge but we refuse the truth and believe the lie.

Many believe that you can study scripture and understand it apart from our actions but I came to believe that the only way I can understand the truth is to be conformed to it when I hear it.  If I do not donthe truth I only understand the lie.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
