Revelation 3:10  Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

God said " the hour of trial". This means a specific time period which is the seven year tribulation not just all the trials the earth has had to endure from the being of time.

Yep, I hear you.  Just wondering on your statement that, as a Christian, you seem to be saying that the example Oo gave of having your head cut off, well you somehow have the promise that that can not happen to you, while all over the world, Christians do indeed, lose their lives.  Not trying to argue the tribulation sequence with you,

I said I will have to see it and experience it to believe it. That is not what reading Scripture literally tells me.

Your saying scripture promises us we can't be killed?  Even though we read about all the Christians that have and are being killed because they are christians?  I try to read scripture literally also,  and there are examples in scripture that some are killed.  Stephen was stoned, John the baptist, etc.

I told you that I read the Scriptures literally and they tell me that all true born again believers who are saved will not go through the seven year tribulation but will be taken to heaven during this time. Not all people who say they are a Christian are saved.

When I was in the concentration camp, a camp where only twenty percent of the women came out alive, we tried to cheer each other up by saying, "Nothing could be any worse than today." But we would find the next day was even worse.  During this time a Bible verse that I had committed to memory gave me great hope and joy.

"If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; 

for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you;

on their part evil is spoken of,

but on your part He is glorified." 

(I Peter 3:14)

I found myself saying, "Hallelujah! 

Because I am suffering, Jesus is glorified!"

In America, the churches sing, "Let the congregation escape tribulation", but in China and Africa the tribulation has already arrived. This last year alone more than two hundred thousand Christians were martyred in Africa. Now things like that never get into the newspapers because they cause bad political relations. But I know. I have been there. We need to think about that when we sit down in our nice houses with our nice clothes to eat our steak dinners. Many, many members of the Body of Christ are being tortured to death at this very moment, yet we continue right on as though we are all going to escape the tribulation.

 

 

 

Several years ago I was in Africa in a nation where a new government had come into power. The first night I was there some of the Christians were commanded to come to the police station to register. When they arrived they were arrested and that same night they were executed. The next day the same thing happened with other Christians. The third day it was the same. All the Christians in the district were being systematically murdered.

Bible is clear on Israel he who touches thee touches the apple of my eye. Bless those that bless thee and curse those who curse thee. Israel is already under judgement their spiritual blinded and their hearts have been hardened towards the Gospel. As Israel goes so does usa. If Israel is ever attacked then usa will be next
