Mine was a response of what she said.  In essence, since she (Sister) has been studying like the Berean's for the past 20 years and has come to the conclusion that if we have not or do not accepted the Post Trib doctrine as truth our Salvation is at stake.  And thus we will accept the Mark of the Beast because we will be deceived.

If we know the wolf is coming, we warn the sheep.  We don't tell the sheep to relax and that everything will be ok.  We warn them to be prepared, by building on a good foundation that wont blow over when that storm comes.  This foundation is the "truth".  A foundation built on lies will crumble their faith when the storm hits.  They wont know what's happening or be prepared, so they will most likely feel that they have been forsaken and fall.  We are just trying to prepare others to be aware in what's coming so you can build up your faith with no hidden surprises and make the right decisions. 

We are coming into those times now as it is at the doors.  In my opinion it is very IMPORTANT for us in this generation to know all truth and know what to expect, because if we fall we wont be in that first resurrection, therefore it is a salvation issue.

If we send someone into captivity (a spiritual prison) where there is no truth, then we ourselves will go into captivity (a spiritual prison). 

The truth shall set you free. The WHOLE truth.

 

 

 

you have said wisely Sister, and blessings to you , it seems that the warnings and the trumpets are sounding, but no one is listening,  and I think that the Big bad wolf, has already , snuck in, and it will be easy prey, ,for him.

That's not what she said anyway.  She wasn't saying salvation was at stake.  She was saying that a careless approach to prophecy would put you at risk of being caught in a snare.  It wasn't about losing salvation, which still doesn't necessitate the school yard call out.  

 Revelation 13:10   He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Going into captivity does not mean you lose salvation.  It means that you go into captivity because you have been caught in a snare.  It doesn't mean you aren't saved.  You could be saved, in a snare, and captivity probably gonna motivate you to repent pretty quickly.  

I would say the real snare here doesn't have anything to do with prophecy discussion, but rests in the manifestation of the understanding of basic doctrines.  If you need to be taught basic precepts of love, and humility again and again (Hebrews 5:12), you may find yourself caught in a snare or led into captivity.  Still, not a salvation issue.   

Basically, it goes like this.  If you can't understand basic precepts of love and humility.  You should not discuss prophecy, and your years as a self proclaimed Berean, are really poorly reflected in your response.  

" Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips," (Proverbs 27:2).  

" We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise" ( 2 Corinthians 10:12).  

It really gets tiring reiterating this over and over again.  I am concerned for what it is like at your churches.  Don't people teach you to love others when you go to church.  These are the most basic and fundamental precepts.

" If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:2).

Then ask yourself whether God would show a Jesuit Priest such a HUGE thing or if something else was behind it .. considering this Priest never changed his ways nor left that institution, meaning, such a revelation was NOT fruitful to his spiritual condition .. I know of NO examples in the scriptures where UNFRUITFUL men are given such LARGE and precious JEWELS (true understanding) without CHANGE .. to me, that is very telling.

You have to realise that when the time of tribulation comes and those who have been told "not to worry because you will be raptured" realise they are not raptured, WHAT do you suppose many of them will do?

They will shake their fists at God and say "well YOU rejected me, so I WILL take that mark and SAVE my own life" .. and what .. you don't think this a matter of SALVATION?

That is called BEING OFFENDED IN THE LORD .. Jesus speaks about it in His parables even .. don't you know this?

There is a saying in my land that goes like this .. "You're DREAMING mate" if you don't see this simple truth.

 in fact it went as far as to take the power away from God to promote the actions and event s in stead of a personal relationship,and watered down teachings, it was the hype, and deception, over , really loving and knowing the heart of God, we have missed that train so to speak, and got on the fast train, to no where and so we are wretched and deserted now by society in the desert to find our way to God,

 we accepted that we can live our life any way we wanted, and still be saved and be excused for sinning, no one really knows what you are talking about, for they are not seeking God, I know what you are saying , and only those that have commited the obedience to the truth ,and are filled , with the wisdom of God will see what you are saying

we have all been deceived to believe lies, and there is so, so, ....much, more,? that we have been blind to see ,that we do not open our eyes to. and when we see it we do not say anything we just follow the masses on the wide and the broad road, and we know where that road is going ?

 and we have to see that unless we come to our knees, and cry out to God, and surrender all that we are and all that we have ,we will never see what God has for us, for we go through the rituals and the system of the Christian ways, in the world today , and say we have the answers and we have the right God ,

but yet, the actions and the teachings are not right with God,? it is about the self ,? and about the business, and the today wants and material things ? , and nothing to do with following God ,the real God that died and rose again, we are not passionate about that God, just what we can get and how we can serve, and be as comfortable and entertained today,

Well said brother, 100% agree.

And like a virus it spread rapidly and made many a people VERY RICH through their books etc like you said .. a common theme with these so called "men of God" isn't it .. MONEY that is .. and lots of it too .. but don't worry, the poor are poor for a reason they say, let them pray to God they will mutter, hypocrites. Oh and the ones who DO do donations .. guess WHY they do it .. to keep their TAX BRACKETS down lest they get hit with surcharges and the like .. and as for DONATIONS .. 90c in the dollar actually goes into their grubby little (or BIG)  pockets .. they have their reward indeed.
