He will NOT have regard for "the God of his fathers",,,,Which pretty much says he will be a Jew (plus in context the Word speaks f him returning to the chosen land,,,paraphrasing) and you have to wonder about "no desire for women",,,,,,,,,,,before I realized everything points to him most likely being a Jew,,,,,I used to consider a pope(celebacy?)  I don't know but I do not think he will appear to be a maniac or anything remotely close to the persona of BundyNero etc....he will be far far worse & not at first sight                             Love,Kwik

I agree with others here who say that the Antichrist will be more of a misanthrope than a misogynist.  He will hate all people - he will be an "equal opportunity" hater, if you will.

But MOST of all – he will hate God.  He isn’t called the anti-woman, he is called the Antichrist.

There were many antichrists according to John in the books of 1 and 2 John and one can only reason that there have been many since.  Adolph Hitler comes to mind as well as Madeline Murray O’Hair. John defines the spirit of antichrist as a belief that Jesus is not a deity.

The book of Revelation doesn’t mention the word Antichrist, but we understand that the beast is that very person.  Here is what the Bible says about the man and what will characterize him:

• 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – He will actually seat himself in the newly built Jewish Temple and call himself God.  The Jews will flee under God’s protection.
• Revelation 13:1-18 - He will be a blasphemer of our Holy God.  People will marvel over him AND worship him as he will be a great deceiver – 2 John 1:7.

As far as that Daniel passage about him rejecting the “desire of women”,  one has to look at the whole sentence in context.

Daniel 11:36-39  “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.”

This says he will 100% willfully reject all Gods (gods) but one:  He will reject these gods–

• The [G]od of his fathers
• The desire of women
• Any [g]od – He will exalt himself above them all.

Just like King Solomon had wives who worshiped other gods than he did – I believe this is saying that the Antichrist "will not worship the God of his fathers, the [g]ods worshiped by any wives, or any [g]od at all.  He will call himself a [g]od.  He WILL however follow a new [g]od – one his fathers did not know of – one of military force and will advance himself to rule over many."

Why DID the devil come to Eve and not Adam?

The Bible says Adam was with Eve.  She was deceived and Adam deliberately disobeyed.  But he was there.

Why come to her first?  It wasn’t because he hated her more than he hated Adam.  It wasn't because she was the "weak link in the chain" as I was taught all of my life.  He understood how essential she was – how God had created her as a “help meet” and presented her to Adam.

I believe it has to do with the word “help meet”.  I’ve studied this word for years.

Here is it in Hebrew.  עֵזֶר נֶגֶד  It’s “ezer knegdo” 

Part I:  HELP

“help” [EZER] – literally means succuor (relief)   There are many words for “help” in the Bible that mean different things,  but this one means “relief”.  It’s the same Hebrew word “help” as these passages:

·         Psalm 33:20 - Our soul waits for the LORD: he is our help  [ נֶגֶד  = ezer] and our shield      Psalm 70:5 - But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help  [ נֶגֶד  = ezer] and my deliverer; O LORD,                        make no tarrying.      Psalm 121:1 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  [ נֶגֶד  = ezer]      Psalm 146:5 - Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:  [ נֶגֶד  = ezer]   David uses the same word to describe God’s help as God used to describe Eve’s help to Adam.  This does not make her divine by any means,                                             or superior to Adam, but it does make the understanding of the word better.  The importance of the word help - relief - the importance                                                      of what she was intended to be is made 1,000% more clear   Part II:  MEET “meet”  K’negdo – conspicuous, in front of, with opposition, opposite of “Opposite” like hands facing each other.  But hands in use together are more powerful than one hand.  Think of shoveling.  On my right hand,                                            my thumb is on the left.  On my left hand, my thumb is on the right.  Opposite when in front of.  BUT if I grip a shovel, BOTH thumbs are on                                           top thereby make the work more efficient. The devil came to Eve first because she was Adam's "relief".  He could get to Adam if he deceived her enough to rebel. He hated both Adam and Eve equally.

The Antichrist will have his own religion and that religion will also include the government. I don't think we see anything more similar to this than Islam which has Government that hates Freedom as much as Nazism did that cannot be separated from the religion.

Islam has been at war with women since it was founded to reduce them to something that is less than human, to strip them of Rights, and to make them the possessions of and dominated by men.  More than 1.4 billion people belong to this religion.

I see in our music, the media, and the pornography industry, a huge movement  to dehumanize and degrade women.

The Devil has a repulsive hideously misogynistic agenda that can obviously be seen and as we see with Islam, Satan delights in men dominating them and preying upon them.

Why do you think this is?

Okay, so what about the above post.  Let's put the Antichrist aside and talk about His Father, the Devil.  Doesn't it seem like He is working overtime to dehumanize, degrade, and make women objects and possessions that men dominate and opress?  It seems like their rights get trampled on far worse than those of men and generally they are more dehumanized, even to the point that in our present day world there are entire countries where the Government forces people to treat them like criminals or like they aren't even human beings.

I would rather be a slave on an ancient plantation with a plantation owner who treated me as well as he treats His dogs or workhorses than live like the women in Saudi Arabia have to, as a possession of their husband on house arrest for a life time with no freedom and treated like a criminal.  That's an entire gender we're talking about that is being persecuted, not some minority but roughly half the population.

The life of EVERY woman in Saudi-Arabia is ruined! That isn't considered some "extremist" Muslim country either.  THEY ARE AN "ALLY" of America and the free-world.  ugh! 

Don't you think the Devil is behind that?

 `Frankly, I prefer not to dwell on evil of any kind.  Try reading psalms 104, which is what I was doing when I saw your post come up. It is such beautiful poetry.  But concerning the end times in particular we need to somehow keep our eyes on God, not on the enemy or what is going on in the world.  It is one thing to be aware but quite another to dwell there.

The Bible speaks of having a wife and kids being a distraction from giving one's all divided attention to God. Maybe that same principle applies to those who want to give their undivided attention to the devil.

Maybe the AC avoids women so that he can have more unity and intimacy with the Devil.  He will be a creepy one, that is for sure.  I wonder if as a child he will be diagnosed with any mental illnesses , incarcerated , have a criminal record, or been in and out of mental institutions.

I feel kind of sorry for him, because to be that much of a slave of the devil has to be a very miserable and a dark cold place to be without much if any Joy whatsoever.

People enslaved to the devil are always wounded, broken, unhappy, and tormented.
