Let me get this our front. This IS partially about vanity and similar qualities. For me, the choice of things like style and color/customization of a vehichle, is every bit as vain as wearing fancy clothes, tatoos jewelry. fancy hair, or even having the best looking lawn in the neighborhood.

Now that this is out of the way, I ask you to respond to my poll, the subject regards the cars rendered in the following image:

In addition to the questions in the poll, you could answer another if you would be so kind.

Suppose you won a contest, and as the winner, you would receive your choice of these two cars, under the following 3 restrictions.

1. You and/or your spouse (if any) are the only ones who may drive the car while you own it.

2. You must keep the car for 10 years, or else return it back the the contest promoter.

3. During these ten years, you may not repaint the car, unless it is in the same color, not may you obsured the color with a custom wrap etc. the car must maintain the  same, general appearance in which you receive it..

OKAY, it is a stupid thread to be sure, but now, if you will, please go vote.

I picked the red one for question 1, because, well, red is awesome and yellow is lame. thats all there is to it.

question 2, kind of a pointless question. at night, all your going to see is the lights. So it makes no difference what color the car is. I chose yellow, because if you "happened" to be running around without headlights, yellow will reflect other peoples headlights better, so in "theory" it is easier to spot, but reality is your still asking for a disastor.

Question 3 this is from actual experience in adverse conditions, and there are exceptions to the rule and each situation is different, but typically, darker colored vehicles are easier to spot in adverse weather conditions (daylight conditions, im assuming) such as fog, rain, or snow, because of the contrast. So I obviously picked red.

As far as to the conditions, I guess I dont see the question. Would I take the car under those conditions? certainly. A free car is a free car. And if I take care of it, especially a car like that, it could be worth serious money in 10 years, and even if it "devalues" no matter what I sell it for, i will be getting a 100% profit out of it, assuming of course I dont spend a fortune in storage fees.

I would prefer neither one of them, but if I HAD to, the yellow one.

Why? Because brake lights are harder to see on red cars and I already had one person rear end me because he was unable to see my brake lights easily. (My brake lights were legal and in good condition but he was also medically unfit to drive.)

I must agree with that statement,,,,,,How does this pertain to the "Inner Court" I must ask? I have answered you 3 poll questions, having been in the majority in all three for obvious & common responses would apply,,,,,,,,,,

For the extra question ,,,,I am a car buff,I used to race cars(Super Pro Bracket Drags),,,,,,,,,so,I would of course, take the car(unless I could return it for monetary value),,,,,,could do a lot of good for many people with that kind of money,I would much prefer that & Glorify God by Blessing others,,,,,,,,,

But since there is no option to sell it or get money instead,I would keep it(red),drive it if I could afford the insurance & maintenance but probably would not be able to,,,,,,,

I was thinking more from the side, not looking at it from the front or rear.

Not would you take the car, under those conditions, which car would you take? Some might like the look of a car, but want the other one, for example, suppose someone likes red, but believes red cars get more tickets, they might opt for yellow.

Well, yes, not twisting your arm, if you do not want a free car, you can decline!

It is inner court, because the is where the "General" section is, should I have only had unbelievers and seekers respond? There are more believers here, so I figured that is where I would get the most answers, that is all.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
