DARRELX i only describe what i saw and yes it doesnt make sense and it is off the wall kinda thing. which is why i have never talked about it. this happened back in the 1990's.

gosh i have just been looking this group up, it took me a while to remember the name however i found it

There was a time when people were seeing demons in Cabbage patch dolls simply because some paster said that they were demon possessed

Some things can be brought on by belief and paranoia and people can start seeing demons everywhere and interpret every uncomfortable or bad thing as demonic.

We need to be careful not to attribute everything we see as either from God or the Devil. 

Truth is from God and deception is from Satan. That is the litmus test for me.

Problem is though Darrall,   not everything from the dark side is false or a deception....   and that's part of why it's easy if you are not really on your toes for they will feed you truly remarkable things to get your confidence and then work you over when you least expect it.

yes i reckon that to be true.  i thimk satan has been busy with me. i explored so many different new age things that i ended up confused and lost and i am still experiencing the impact of this. but what kind of saved me ironically is my lack of trust in anything or anyone. i wouldn't let anything get too deep before i walked away.

i could have been spiritual toast many times i reckon, so maybe God has a plan for me. however the trust issue is as deep as ever to the point where i have isolated myself. so at the mo satan is winning and i need a breakthrough and maybe God did try to breakthrough

about 10 years ago experienced many amazing things that could have been of God but because of my past dabbling' s i could not trust it to be so and so i was left in the dark regarding this and not able to move forwards. so yes the past is still affecting me and yet i still keep trying to have a connection with God and maybe that is why i joined this forum.

It was seeking after spiritual experiences when I was just converted Christianity, that got me into trouble with demons pretending to be God. The safest and smartest thing in my book is to not seek any supernatural or supposed spiritual things but read the Bible every day. If you want to get close to God gain a good knowledge of scripture, get to know His will and obey. There are no quick fixes or fast tracks to getting close to God. Being saved there is but James says.

James  4:8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

wow today has been very very strange. this morning i was leaning out the window to refill the bird feeder when i happened to see a grey plump bird a bit like a dove but not. couldnt find out what it was in the end.  it stayed in the garden under the window for an hour or so. the window is very noisy, when i opened the bedroom window to get a closer look it was just standing there like it was tired so i threw some soaked bread out and it didnt flinch. next it flew onto the fence just outside my window and was not all fazed by me looking at it .

other things happened also when i was coming back from the supermarket reg nature quite bizarre really! but very entertaining! i have not been able to access the forum all day until now as i was blocked. but it seems to be working again.

 

so yes thank you for your prayer it certainly did something!

yes exactly reg the spiritual experiences...that is why i could not take these experiences in case they were not of God. even when desperately low i know that is not a good idea. yep i read the bible everyday. ah yes no quick fixes but there aint no breakthrough's either. keep on keeping on to the point where i am totally numbed out and that is without medication!

And about illnesses mental or other, most if not all have a spiritual root component that is not from God but from our fallen nature.

 

 

Satans first access to us is through our mind, through our thoughts, if we entertain these thoughts we are opening the door and allowing satan to roam about and try to cause us to stumble.

New tests of faith are placed in front of us everyday.

How we handle them determines our mind set.

Many people stricken with mental health issues , gravtate to the dark side and speak about the dark side, they keep talking about liking horror movies, dark music, entertaining themselves with witchcraft and other esotherica philosophies, enjoy being cynical and sarcastic and loving the dark side of things, and then they wonder why they are stricken?

Instead of entertaining in our minds with gloomy,thoughts, the bible does say to think on things lovely.

Why? for how we think, so we are.

Mental health illness like other illnesses has a root cause and much of it comes from thoughts that are contrary or in disobedience to Gods will and Gods word for us.

This disobedience and defiance in choosing to walk away from God can also be passed on through the blood,the genes, from generation unto generation.(the sins of the fathers can be passed on until someone finally repents.)

Until one is willing to accept Gods Word, repent and understand that God is greater than all evil, they will be subject to satans influence..

 

God has defeated satan on the cross at Calvary.

 

As a christian you have protection, you cannot ever become possessed by satan, if you are walking in His light and love and asked Christ to make a home in your heart. The Blood of Christ Jesus covers ALL believers. Christ Jesus shed HIS atoning Blood to cover, heal our sins and sicknesses.

With God we HAVE HIS power to overcome satan the enemy

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Our safety net is God and His plan of Mecry and Grace through Christ Jesus our Savior and redeemer from satans hold on us..

You may be oppressed but most assuredly, as you grow in Christ Jesus, as you keep seeking Him and His Word and desire more and more His way of life, those oppressive spirits will leave you, because you become fuller and fuller with Gods Word living in you and darkness and Gods light cannot habitate together.

Either you are covered by the redeeming Blood of Christ or you are not.

It tries you hypnotize you through suggestibility, placing you in a trance to their suggestions.

Remember satans access into destroying us always come through the mind.

Gods Love and Power comes through to the heart and can delivers us from the damages that satan tried to instill in us in order to fully corrupt us and destroy us.

Our recovery from satan is a matter of our faith.

To whom do we place our faith, faithfulness into?

God or the enemy satan? 

 

 

 

 

Don’t be deceived folks, the actions of people speak louder than their hearsay, looks or promises.

Trust always Gods word before trusting man/women, because man/woman are fallible ,but God WORD if Eternal and does not change.

Align all thoughts with the WORD of GOD,and if ANYONE'S thoughts,sayings don't match with the Word Of God, then they are false knowledge blown in the wind and can only spread  by the influence of the prince of the air witch is satan himself, Satan is the greatest con artist whose only purpose is to steal, kill and destroy.
