Thousands flood streets to protest Trump in seven cities

(Worthy News) - Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in seven major U.S. cities on Wednesday night to denounce President-elect Donald Trump. The protests were created by a number of groups, including college campus, socialist and other organizations.

Demonstrators in New York have shut down traffic by Fifth Avenue and East 57th Street, near the heavily policed Trump Tower. The group started at 14th Street and walked more than 40 blocks north to the billionaire's residence and business headquarters.

In Chicago, an "emergency protest" lured thousands of people to the city's Trump Tower. At one point, protesters filled all six lanes of North Michigan Avenue, disabling cars from passing through the streets. [ Source ]

It's the safezone people coming out in droves. This is what the left gets for coddling the youth of America. They manufacture people who can't handle anything more that getting their own way, handed to them on a silver platter.

 

What they have effectively done is rid themselves of those people who when they are retired will be trying to defend what they've lived their lives for and that is liberal policies.

Once you start blocking traffic and causing problems for other people, you are no longer protesting;  you are rioting and rioting is not constitutionally protected free speech.

One can say the same for many leaders in the political establishment.  

It occurs to me that the quality of the issues that people demonstrate for (or against) has definitely declined over the years.

Once people demonstrated for civil rights for blacks or they demonstrated against what was arguably an unjust war (in VN) - life and death issues.

Now they 'demonstrate' (and riot) when their candidate loses and the government gravy train might be derailed.

Identity politics has created a long line of self centered people who demand everything for themselves and want everybody to give it to them, because they have been told it's theirs from grade school.  The government is creating problems that they won't be able to fix, because people are fed up with paying to hear others whine. These protests are just the beginning.

I could imagine that there would have been protesters out there if Hillary had won.

So, overall, I'd say this is just a tempest in a teapot and think that we should just give people

place to blow-off steam.
