(Worthy News) - Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in seven major U.S. cities on Wednesday night to denounce President-elect Donald Trump. The protests were created by a number of groups, including college campus, socialist and other organizations.

Demonstrators in New York have shut down traffic by Fifth Avenue and East 57th Street, near the heavily policed Trump Tower. The group started at 14th Street and walked more than 40 blocks north to the billionaire's residence and business headquarters.

In Chicago, an "emergency protest" lured thousands of people to the city's Trump Tower. At one point, protesters filled all six lanes of North Michigan Avenue, disabling cars from passing through the streets. [ Source ]

I'm going to bet that if you looked in the right places near the area of the "protests" you would probably find buses. They would likely be the buses that brought most of the "protesters" to the site, and will probably leave when they do. The whole thing seems a bit too much like all the immigration "protests" they had in the Phoenix area . . . many of those protesters were bused in from California. The two just seem a little to similar to me.

I've also noticed the whiny, crybaby response of some (not all!) Hillary supporters, and also some media outlets. . . Hmm . . . I opened the door the morning after the election and found the sky and ground still in place. The world didn't end just because Trump got elected . . . the stock market "crash" has set record high closings . . . and so it seems that life goes on. Good.

And now back to sharing the gospel. Because only Jesus can change a heart. If enough people have changed hearts and are properly discipled, then you'll see the culture begin to change for the better. The only way that will happen is if believers share the gospel with others.

this is a revolution-- if these kids had actually studied history they would know most revolutions fail ungracefully and with no glory- mostly with a whimper--- and if they knew Social studies they would know that the people who's votes they are trying to steal and overturn--- are also the people who are most likely to defend the constitution if it is seriously threatened----- as we always say--- its not in the constitution for  hunting and target practice. Also being ignorant of American history they are not familiar with the old quote that says from tine to time the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots

I have a liberal friend on Facebook, who said she thought civil war might be upon us. My reply? Not likely. First off, the liberals are nowhere near organized enough to fight an actual war. Second, look who's rioting.... The liberals, so that begs the question of what they're going to fight with, the conservatives have all the guns!

Protests on Trump? Wrong. But look at our world.

I think it is rather telling how the Left, which was so worried about  about Trump inspiring violence and were calling for civility from Trump supporters (who were never rioting in the first place)  suddenly lost their voice over these morons who are now rioting over Trump winning the election.

I don't remember Republicans ever protesting much less rioting anywhere.

Don't overlook the southside of Chicago, though.

Not too many conservatives there, and there are sure a lot of guns.

Just sayin'

They are trying to forcefully sway the December 19th elections.  Though I agree fully that any destruction of property or interruption of normal traffic should all be brought before the courts, there are peaceful protests that are pointing to the following petition, signed by 3,453,271 people so far:

Letter to
Electoral College Electors

Electoral College make Hillary Clinton president on December 19,

The Founders created the Electoral College to balance two important values: the will of the people, and the need for a President who is fit for office.

Denying Mr. Trump the Presidency accomplishes both goals while violating no Constitutional principle.

In Federalist No. 68, Hamilton explains that the "sense of the people", must be expressed in the outcome. But, "Men most capable of analyzing the qualities adapted to the station and acting under circumstances favorable to deliberation, and to a judicious combination of all the reasons and inducements which were proper to govern their choice," should make the final decision.

Hamilton pointed out that, "Talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity, may alone suffice to elevate a man to the first honors in a single State; but it will require other talents, and a different kind of merit, to establish him in the esteem and confidence of the whole Union, or of so considerable a portion of it as would be necessary to make him a successful candidate for the distinguished office of President of the United States".

Casting your ballot for Hillary preserves majority rule - the "sense of the people" - and prevents the most unqualified candidate in history from taking office. Never in our Republic's 240 years has our President had no previous experience in an office of public trust, be it elected or appointed, civilian or military. Never has a President admitted to sexual assaults. Never has a President encouraged violence at campaign events.

There is no reason electors cannot vote with their conscience, and at the same time preserve majority rule.

Please protect our Constitution and our Republic by casting your ballot for Hillary Clinton.

This is what may happen ...

I know this has been a crazy election and pretty much everything I predicted WOULD NOT happen HAS happened, but this is pretty far out there.

From what I understand, the slate of electors in each state is usually made up of the "cream of the crop" of party faithful. I cannot see them voting for Hillary Clinton.

One or two might flip, but not in numbers large enough to affect the outcome.

Blessings,

I hope  this is true, but since this is the craziest election in history, anything can happen.  Remember, the EC is not bound to vote any specific way.  Those states that have it as a law will still uphold the vote of their EC, even if it goes against everyone, and all the EC has to do is pay a fine.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
