I wonder what forums will be like. The eschatology section will certainly dilate a couple centimeters.

There will be no Christian forums during Daniel's 70th week.

Now you are gratuitously insulting Christian brothers and sisters.

Sorry, that simply does not work.  Read the book of Revelation.

That's making an assumption that the view of the Pre-Trib rapture is wrong and we are all here for the Tribulation. The debate over the timing of the Rapture continues in other threads here, and most likely will not be resolved until the Lord actually returns to retrieve the Church. But to claim that "All the pre-tribers will take to the streets worse than the hillery voters" is to disregard the character of brothers and sisters in Christ and assume that they would disregard the instructions Scripture gives us on how to accord ourselves, simply because they interpret difficult Scripture differently than you.

I don't look down on Mid and Post-Trib believers for their views, though I have very adamantly disagreed with them (being a "Pre-Tribber" myself). But they are still brethren and deserve respect, and in that light, "Pre-Tribbers" should be shown the same consideration and care as you would want. We are not each others' enemies, nor should we be.

Would a pre-trib believer recognize the tribulation if it turns out to be a post-trib event? And what if both pre-trib and post-trib believers are wrong about the nature of the tribulation? What if Armageddon isn't a middle east war between Israel and everyone else, but a war with a global apostate ecumenical Christian world in union with the governments of the world (the harlot church/woman riding the beast) against the church? And what if the Antichrist isn't some Assyrian riding a black horse guns levelled at Israel and all things godly, but an apostate church system that sees itself as prophet, priest, and king instead of Christ? With the vast majority on the side of ecumenism and but a very small remnant "keeping the commandments of God and having faith in Jesus" (Revel. 14:12) it would be a repeat of two brothers fighting as in Cain against Abel. And the controversy would be over the same subject...worship. (See Revel. 13).

Todays Christians believe they have it all worked out. No-one gives it a moments consideration that they also could be as deceived as their worldly next-door neighbor. Todays church actually believes that the nation of Israel is Satan's prime target, and that the church is just a secondary object of attention. But Jesus wasn't speaking to Israel when he said "take care that no man deceive you". Far too many have believed in the theories of the Darbys and the Schofields and the La Hayes and Lindsays and the Hunts of this world.

Matt 24 & 1 Thess 5 Idiom

The Lord comes as a thief to nonbelievers. Believers will not be surprised on that day. We can actually know the day and the hour from the idiom here. The day of rapture is the Day of the Lord on the Feast of Trumpets, and the hour is at sunset at the twinkling of an eye - http://www.torahcalendar.com/SUNSET.asp

Matt 24:37-39 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

1 Thess 5:1-10 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

Nonbelievers
1. As it was in the days of Noah
2. people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage
3. and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away
4. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape
5. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.

Believers
1. Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you
2. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief
3. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
4. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.
5. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
6. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
7. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
