Some misguided Christians are among them.  I have a friend who is in a leftist community and who would have voted for Sanders.

I cant not understand how one can judge another's Christian faith bass on who they vote for. I myself would like to have

health care. Do you think I am a misguided Christian for wanting that?

Perhaps leftist Christians are those who have not fully surrendered their lives to Christ, so they can't see the issues from His perspective.

This is the most judgmental statement I have ever read from another Christian.  Just think about what you said here. You are judging another person's faith for having views that are different from your views. Just think about that.

It's not the conservatives that call for assassinations of elected officials.  It's not conservatives who go out and burn up cars and beat people up and destroy property when their candidate doesn't get elected.   It's not the conservatives that going out  killing police officers and refusing to stand for the national anthem.  It's not conservatives who are using the race card as an all-purpose weapon  to bully everyone else into silence.  It is not conservatives who disrespect others' rights to free speech.

If these liberal buttercups can't handle criticism, then maybe we need to let them go back home and curl up in a crib next to their mother's bed so she can feed them their bottles.

I do believe that you are confusing the world "liberal" with the word "criminal" or as my grandmother would say "hooligan". Yes now I understand why you are so upset. You got your  labels mixed up. Hooligans are rather nasty people. Causing great unrest where ever they go.

No, those are liberals acting like criminals.   It is both/and, not either/or.

I didn't like that either, but of course I wouldn't I just happen to be a Democrat.

Awfull lot of that going around. It was a bitter campaign with an awfull lot at stake.I liked Pacino's words in Any Given Sunday, we are either going to have to come together as a team or we will die as individuals. I think of all people we as Christians should be peacemakers.

Almost all of the Liberals I know are so because they believe the government can address problems better than individuals.  I wholeheartedly disagree with them, but them having that view does not make the of the devil.

For me the rule of thumb is 'liberal' and 'conservative' are a reference to change. The conservative is more of a strict constructionalist where liberals see the Constitution as more elastic and subject to interpretation. I've really always been a moderate and I have never liked having to choose between two extremes.

Read an interesting article a while back that described the growing number of moderates and their effect on the outcome of elections. There are way more of them then any third party candidate can rally.

Instead of polarizing factions a smart approach would be to speak to the ones who crowd the middle because more and more they will be the deciding votes in our elections. They don't like one party having all the power so watch out in 2018.

sometimes we do have to judge-- there are things in the liberal worldview that are obviously contrary to Biblical teaching- the more a person is surrendered to Christ the closer their life will be patterned after Biblical teaching---- I think that a persons voting habits should be a reflection of their spiritual maturity---

I'm okay with health care administered in a responsible way, or some kind of cap on what health care providers cancharge

Liberals are the types of people who scrutinize any form of authority outside of their own and cast all others in such a light that will illuminate their values in such a way that will vindicate them and justify their actions.

i am not quite sure what you mean

all the passages you just quoted only applies if you preach to them in a Godly and loving manner, with their best interest at heart. and allow them to agree to disagree as we know you can't convert someone by bashing the Bible on their head.

but mostly, you genuine love them and show your love for them.

above is a wonderful article of how to love non believer

Well said.  Politics brings out the worse in everyone who are on opposing sides.  Man Christians are liberal because of their deeply felt calling to deal with the poor and those disenfranchised.  I am not a liberal, yet when it comes to health care I am.  Those who label themselves conservatives can be just as mean spirited as those on the left.  Many blacks who are deeply christian are democrats, they are hardly reprobates.  When you go too far right or left and go around far enough you meet each other, because fanatics are all alike.  I do believe that when Hilary came out in favor of on demand partial birth abortion she lost a lot of votes on the left......no way I could vote for someone who would promote infanticide, which is what PBO is.

We all kind of do that I believe.  Prayer can lead us to do it less.

See. This is where we will never be in agreement. As I feel that a person's Christ walk can not be judge by who they voted for. But I will accept that we will never agree on this and log off of here, and go make come cookies.

Any type of sincere prayer leads us to depend on God. There is more to the idea of forgetting oneself, picking up the cross and follow Jesus than meets the eye. Forgetting oneself takes away the ego which is the main culprit in in doing what I have described.  We, as Christian's have the Bible and the Holy Spirit in  which to guide our steps. I have seen nothing  that guides the liberal community, except the angst they feel for those who they blame for the worlds wrongs.
