But I didn't ask you to show me what Paul stated.  I asked what do you mean  when you say the Bible is God's word.  Also, Paul never said the Bible was God's word.  He said scripture was inspired by God.  Do you believe by Paul saying scripture was inspired by God that he was saying its the word of God?

If we reject some things based on inconsistencies wouldn't we have to reject everything considering there are  many located within the texts we read...how do we reconcile that?

Hope this scripture verse satisfies your inquiry about where Paul got his authority to pen his words.

There are some in the christian circle who discredits Paul as an apostle of Jesus Christ and believes that he has made up his own scripture. They therefore don't believe he is a true apostle.  But here are Paul's  word.

Galatians 1King James Version (KJV)

11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Actually,  as written in YHWH'S WORD,

there are not ones in CHRIST who reject those who CHRIST sent - CHRIST said plainly anyone who rejects who the FATHER calls, chooses and sends also reject HIM ,  and this is clearly seen to be true in all those who reject any of the ones the FATHER calls, chooses and sends [in the BIBLE, and in every day life].    i.e. if someone rejects Peter, James, John, Paul, or the little children of the FATHER,   they also reject Y'SHUA MESSIAH, as Y'SHUA SAYS.

May I ask a question to the admins of this forum? Why are these posts allowed when they are only meant to discredit God and make His servants angry? I can't speak for the OP but it's clear he didn't have an answerable question but wanted arguements. That so goes against the Bible and God's plea for unity. I know that people will ask when thy're really seeking for answers but how long does it have to go on? PLease forgive me if I'm out of line but I just felt I had to speak.

Is there a "test" so to speak as to what is God's word and what isn't his word?

Well lets see.  The Bible is the best selling book of all times.  kings tried to destroy it.  It has stood the test of time.  The highest court of Nations use it as a truth bearer.  Many nations use it to inaugurate the highest officials in their lands.   I mean, this must have some significance here on earth  for men to trust in its contents.

Spiritual things are just what they are, spiritual.   You cannot use worldly methods to comprehend spiritual things.   You want affirmation of God's word, then you have to seek him with your heart and soul.

1 Corinthians 2King James Version (KJV)

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So, i really want to know, what's your question is all about.  You should be forthright and give us what is your line of reasoning and we could have some more dialogue and get some resolve, or at least try.  You question must have some thought pattern behind it. please let us know.

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

Right there is the only definition a christian should follow.

Amen Steve.

First let me begin by saying I know this is a touchy subject but it is my hope that this brings thoughtful and thought provoking discussion.  If you feel that this topic is too touchy for you I ask that you do not participate in it.  Now to the questions.

For those that believe the Bible to be the Word of God, what do you mean by that?

It is God inspired.  For me it is God's love letter to His people.  It is true, without error.  It is the only weapon against the enemy, he cannot stand against.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
