To be fair Shiloh, the 2nd photo looks like after a calamity:( eg: earthquake - not everyday street life.

Nope, that is a picture of the live of poverty that currently exists in Socialist Venezuela.

I get the poverty part but that particular photo looks like after a natural disaster.

There's a microwave in the street. ....

Propaganda.  That's all this is.

That aptly describes the Democratic Socialists of America in that first picture, yes.

All the good they could do? Move! Go to those socialist countries that are already in existence and see how they fare. They're crowing for a socialist model in America thinking that's ideal because they'll be on the receiving end as lazy parasites who will live off the hard work of others in the socialist model. Look at the average age of those in the first picture holding the banner for the DSoA. All of them under mid 30's range if that.

And yet when the Socialist model there began it was promoted as glorious for the people. Keep in mind though that Venezuela is extreme right wing anti-abortion by law. There , a woman that is in an at risk pregnancy and has been told will perish if she remains pregnant , by her physician of course, will indeed die. Unless her family can get her out of the country and to a country that will perform the procedure.

That is also what some factions in America want to see happen. That and or the socialist model coming here as well. Because they've never lived under that kind of governance. Bernie Sanders was their champion. He was out of his wits and knew nothing about what he was speeching about, but he was still a proponent of the same government as now exists in Venezuela.

All I can say is that some of you really need to educate yourselves about what Socialism is. And telling people to leave the country because they think differently then you do is UnAmerican. That's all I have to say about this.

Socialism is shared property.   In socialism, if you bred and raised milk  100 cows in order use their milk to make money, the socialist government takes 99 of your cows and distributes them to 99 other people.   In socialism, your property and your money are not yours.  In socialism, everyone is left equally poor because of the concept of shared property.

In social justice, which is rooted in socialism, if I am rich and you are poor, your poverty places a moral obligation on me to alleviate it.   So basically socialism doesn't help you and it doesn't help me.  It impoverishes both of us and it keeps us poor.

Who is telling anyone to leave the country just because they think differently?

Thinking people who know what Socialism is are uneducated about Socialism is just sillyness.

Calling people un-American for saying people who wish they lived under a regime that is not a Constitutional Republic should leave a Constitutional Republic so as to find the Socialist regime they crave is un-American is just plain ignorant.

Just like those who are working to make America become a Democratic Socialist country are ignorant in that process. That's why calling people who are educated about what the Socialist model is are in need of an education in light of those aforementioned examples is darn funny.

But it doesn't offset the fact that those doing the calling are ignorant. If they were educated they wouldn't have admitted they needed to Google first to find out what's being discussed here. Only to return calling others ignorant for having their own knowledge beforehand.

The USA that hotbed of "capitalism" could also be classified as a "socialist' state...public schools - socialism

government medical plan - socialism

social security system - socialism

government services  - socialism

etc etc...

Poverty knows no ideological system...the Philippines has no social program to speak of yet 90 percent of its people live in poverty, worse than the pictures you showed...that country is pro free enterprise and not socialist and has been 'an ally" of the USA for decades, and a "christian" nation for centuries...

Your stereotype has no merit, and is rather offensive to the poor people of the countries you portrayed..we should all pray that the same fate does not come to the USA and other western countries anytime soon.

BTW you should not let the decadent anarchists in the USA paint the political picture for the planet...they are a result of the very capitalist system you are trying to glorify...

Propaganda is "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view".

This has no other information. Only a cut and past picture from two different settings. There for I see this as nothing more then Propaganda.

Did you check out the link I posted on socialist Venezuela?  Nothing like facts to tell a story.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
