At least you won't encounter any of our 4 teenage grandkids who are driving. We live in a dangerous world! Just turn cell phones completely off. No eating or drinking water or anything while driving. Keep you eyes on the road and gauges and your hands on the wheal. Leave dogs at home. Turn the radio off. Then pray before you go for God's angels to go before you. Now, with His blessings, I congratulate you. Willa

I'm so looking forward,- to fitting my own 1942 Chevy 3100 PU with an auto guidance system. Used to be we wanted speed speed and more speed. Now there are so many of us on the roadways we want auto pilot and the extra time on the highway to be used to be more productive in our workday. Ha fun world you are coming into, rebel, enjoy your self driver while you can. But take note that though you may find that vehicle that will go 0 to 60 in less than 5 seconds your auto trip meter will still show you are only averaging 16 miles per hour speed, no matter how you drive between those traffic signal lights. Look out world there is yet another ant on the trail. Hey seriously, it is a fun time, God bless and God keep you and your's secure and safe on the roadways. I'm 46 years old (in 5 days) and never got behind the wheel of a car. I would honestly be scared to death to try. My aunt learned to drive at a little older than that, she was in her late fifties. Her husband died, and she then learned to drive his 1969 police interceptor Pontiac Trans Am. He had been a rural town police officer. We would have to take her to all the places she would want to drive to the next day, to get her feeling safe in her route. She always wanted the route to be all right hand turns, She would not make a left no matter what. She also made sure that she was never the first car at a traffic light- quite the trick. She did fine for a few years, finally smashed the car though, making her first left hand turn into our street one day. Totaled it. She had a few cars after that one, mostly safe feeling putt putts.
