He is not renouncing his citizenship, both the UK and the US recognize dual citizenship.

And then there was a report recently that globalist anti-Brexiter Tony Blair would like to join Trump. For what? Presumably to undermine him internally.  

BTW some of Trump's cabinet choices may be a bit questionable (unless those guys shed their Left-liberal ideas and get on board).  I mentioned McMaster in another thread.  Mattis also has come ideas that don't mesh with Trump.

That's not what is reported in the articles available. What is being reported is he's intending to apply for U.S. citizenship. The laws of the U.S are vague concerning keeping another country's citizenship when doing so. 

Besides that, he's an idiot for thinking this is necessary. He wants to join the resistance. All of the sudden because an evil warped criminal didn't get the office so many thought was hers without a sweat now there needs to be a resistance. 

The democratic election process in this Constitutional Republic happened again. We just passed through eight years of a Muslim who hates America and is a socialist and Muslim terrorist enabler. But now that a businessman beat a career criminal who was planning as she said in her first campaign advertisements to carry on the enemy of America's agenda, that's just too much! Plans for a third Muslim-Obama term were foiled by the peoples choice at the polls and that means foreigners have to renounce their citizenship in another country in order to apply here so they can be one of the buffoons quacking in the streets against the Constitutional Republic they joined having a democratic election process they oppose. 

Patrick Stewart is a fool. And whatever will he do when he has to renounce his "sir" status in the process.

If you have considered carefully and your home country does permit dual citizenship, applying for dual citizenship is as simple as applying for US naturalization by filing Form N-400. When you become a US citizen, you will not give up your original citizenship (as long as your home country permits dual citizenship) and you will be both a US citizen and a citizen of your home country. You do not have to file a special form or request to enjoy US dual citizenship.

You seem to be since you think he is going to renounce his UK citizenship and give up his title.  Also you think that US dual citizenship laws are vague, which they are not so you seem to be a bit confused there as well.

U.S. law does not mention dual nationality or require a person to choose one nationality or another. Also, a person who is automatically granted another nationality does not risk losing U.S. nationality. However, a person who acquires a foreign nationality by applying for it may lose U.S. nationality. In order to lose U.S. nationality, the law requires that the person must apply for the foreign nationality voluntarily, by free choice, and with the intention to give up U.S. nationality.
