lol, You are not alone pondering such questions, but like you said we were made in His image both Male and Female, yet the bible refers to God as Abba Father.

There is an order Father, Mother Child.    We are His Children.        His children are made in His image, His essence. soul spirit.

When you become pregnant from egg and sperm, the egg that becomes fertilized, begins in the female stage and than to becomes a male by the extra X chromosome in the sperm.  The final result is male.

A female cannot produce a male or a female without the males sperm chromosome

thus the male has more energy to create either female or male.

 

A female egg remains dormant without a male sperm to bring on life.

The make sperm is the substance that help to create life male or female.

The female egg is just a neutral substance awaiting for more energy to make it grow and develop

God made both Chromosome X,Y and needed that for reproduction.

God is CREATOR of ALL.

In General, male encompasses both female and male in it.

Male being the stronger force of the two.

Male is also an energy.

I believe male energy to be stronger than female energy.

So this penis business is a very mortal thinking, but i do believe God is beyond just Mortal. He is a immortal infinite creative living, conscious energy and substance

To me , it is completely logical that God is Male, the stronger energy.

When good daddy is home, everything is alright, mummy is happy and feels secure and children feel safe and loved and cared for

I might when it comes out on blu ray or dvd. But since I moved back to my hometown I don't get out to movies much anymore unless it is something like Star Wars or The X-Men.  I am not sure what it is about or if it would hold my attention. 

I like the movie "Priceless" that's good if you ever get a chance to see it.

A writer took years to revise the history of an American founding father Alexander Hamilton. Made millions on Broadway and critics loved it. "Loved it!" 

I wouldn't watch it if it came out on DVD free. Now there's this. People are getting a new visual even for God.

Well to address that statement in particular I will say that when God is a spirit there is no male identity afforded God. Therefore, the argument concerning blasphemy would be to wrap God in human carcass and deify male pronouns. When God never did that.

In fact, to further my thoughts, I would think if blasphemy were an applicable term that dogma and doctrine and orthodoxy would be blasphemous. Being God not only tells us that a spirit is the creator of all that exists, also that we shall never think as God can. Nor is God's thoughts conditioned upon our own. That would include opinions concerning the holy eternal all powerful all knowing everywhere present source of all that exists spirit.

We're offended defending the box we hope to contain eternity in? Influenced to that end by what we ourself comprehend about words written on a page long generations after first inscribed? 

When the eternal has told us in that same body of text that that is futile?

You know, while I agree God presents Himself as a He, and its for a purpose and we should honor that, what is sad here is that is all that is being debated here, when Gods gender is by far the weakest of the heresies presented in this movie. Unimportant? No. But, it's far from the worst one. Quite frankly the movie is just not worth the time or effort.
