“My recommendation instead, however, is that we do not surrender questions of value, whether absolute matters of truth, goodness, and beauty or relative judgment of more or less truth, goodness, and beauty. With those questions to the fore, in fact, we can interrogate various other traditions and truly learn something that can improve our own. Perhaps the Presbyterians really do know more than we do about due process in church government. Perhaps the Orthodox really do know some things we do not about iconography. Perhaps the Mennonites really can teach us the meaning of 'enough.' Perhaps the Pentecostals can help liberate us from dull and disembodied worship. Baptists who have learned to improve their procedures from Presbyterians, their art from the Orthodox, their finances from the Mennonites, and their worship from the Pentecostals do not therefore become worse Baptists but better ones. And so around the ecumenical circle, no?”

Or perhaps instead of thinking we can learn something from these others , specially when some of them are just done gone wrong .

WHY don't we just LEARN FROM THE BIBLE and not be unequally yoked among bad leaders , where we fall away .  People with this agenda KNOW how to trick and deceive .

By grace I learned from THE BIBLE .   We don't need to learn from errouneous faiths .    THIS IS JUST a sham to get us all together folks .     Fellow ,  I truly wish you could see that .

OFcourse every false leader of different faiths , IS GOING TO HAVE some good things they preach on ,   ITS HOW THEY too deceive .

WE don't need to learn anything from false denominations .  NOT a thing .   BY grace I already KNOW the meaning of ENOUGH .    I already know how to manage my finances .

THIS IS THE PROBLEM .  YOU REALLY ARE PREACHING THE WRONG KIND OF UNITY but you cant see that .

This type of language you either just quoated or said ,    SAME MINDSET , SAME ONE of WARREN , EMERGENT and ROME  ,  they know how to deceive my friend .

Divisions are a work of the flesh, “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.“ (Galtians 5:19-21). If divisons are the work of the flesh, then unity or ecumenism is of the Spirit of God, hence:

“I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity.” (John 17:3),

Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,” (Ephensians 4:13)

”As a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth,” (Ephensians 1:10)

”There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28-29)

”From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephensians 4:16)

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions (schisms) among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas[b]”; still another, “I follow Christ.”13 Is Christ divided?” (1 Corinthians 1:10-13).

And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.” (John 17:11)

That there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.” (1 Corinthians 12:25)

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—,” (Ephensians 4:4)

Which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:24)

”Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind,” (1 Peter 3:8)

”For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ,” (1 Corinthians 12:12)

”For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:4-5)

”Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:27)

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.” (Romans 12:16)

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor,” (Romans 12:10)

So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.” (Romans 14:19)

”For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned,” (Romans 12:3)

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” (Ephensians 2:19-22)

”If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.” (1 John 4:20)

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:23)

IF you want UNITY or FELLOWSHIP amongst the BIBLE beleievers ,  THEN PREACH JESUS .    PREACH HIM , and ya wont see me striving one bit .

BUT keep on with this unity and I want no part of it .     Your phrases are identical to so much of what the emergent , rick warren style , rome

THE ONLY thing missing , IS THANKFULLY ya don't preach some interfaith like ROME and some others have been doing .

But ,   get folks unequally yoked and they just get worse and worse .    Has it ever occurred to you ,   THIS REALLY IS A HUGE AGENDA

and has it occurred to you , THEY KNOW HOW TO PREACH IT TO whatever faith they trying to reach .    TO a liberal its more liberal

BUT I noticed something .  THE LAST GROUP standing that more so than others resist this , IS the EVANGELICAL camp .  ALTHOUGH good bye to that , cause they been sucked in to .

They knew how to preach it to liberals , to buddists , muslims , and the faiths as well.   IF you aint figured out THIS IS THE GOAL and you sound a lot like them ,

THEN HOW on earth am I going to make you SEE THIS .   The big thing IS THEY NEED the faiths UNITED .   WE KNOW THIS IS THE AGENDA

and they use lines YOU DO .    SO ,  that should startle you to at least say ,    DID I learn something wrong .

You noticed this flavour too?  Fiddy says he is not 'Roman', but the avatars, Latin, and other statements absolutely scream (at me anyway) otherwise.  Sorry Fiddy, I do not trust what you say, as it smells (to me, an ex-catholic (3o years having been one)) of the Tiber.

Again no answer at all to the responses .   just making it seem like your brand of UNITY is the answer .    WHEN ITS NOT .

IF you can use those scriptures to JUSTIFY your unity , THEN ITS ALL TAKEN OUT OF TEXT .     FIDIE ,   you may as well give it a rest .     DOES it even seem like we are saying

HEY maybe FIDIE IS RIGHT .    NOPE we digging in and staying firm against it .     SO on that note ,   I am out for a bit .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
