Watch and pray

      I read Christ said watch and pray that you may be WORTHY  to escape all these things and stand before the son of man.  So that must mean we have to qualify to be safe from the worldwide troubles. Is being a Christian enough ? Terrible things on coming SOON.. I think almost for sure the very end times are just about here. It's scary to think are we worthy like Christ warm all. He said watch meaning be careful how you are living. Holy lives or lives,filled with the cares of the world. Praying to be close to God and to intercede for others and for the gospel. It will come like the Lord said all of a sudden.

I think He meant do not divert your attention by spending time on the internet when it comes.

Very good Yowm. But if you don't pray you will not escape.  I do believe we are right before God through Jesus blood. We have no righteousness to stand before God. But lukewarm believers will not escape.

Watch...be alert.

Humans are too easily distracted by the physical...the world John 15:5. We need to deny the flesh. Staying in prayer will keep us faithful. We must be ready at any moment to stand before Jesus Christ Romans 14:12.

It's a grand time to be sowing seed, while we watch and see the hand of God, and thus we should stand fast, as the day of the Lord  approaches. Be of good courage, and He will strengthened thy heart!.............

I have to admit, I've read a number of commentaries on Luke 21: 36 by respected scholars, and I'm still not exactly certain of the meaning, and the commentaries vary greatly. I do believe it is talking about the tribulation and the escape of the Rapture, but being found worthy, the context seems to be Jesus is talking to believers (Christians)? I have my own suspicions of what it might mean, but not being sure I'd rather not speculate.

Another passage I have difficulty understanding in its correct context is, Hebrews 10: 26-27

Well I can never think of myself as having made it. But if you are devoted in prayer each day. And are judging yourself each day . You should be making progress. And,I don't mean in a legalistic way. Praying from the heart. But I don't think Jesus means perfection either.Jesus I think will lead us in the right path if we follow him too. It's not easy. But our righteousness is from the lord.
