:) Our Lord did it as a member of mankind for mankind.

Jesus was not a member of mere mortal mankind. He is messiah. He is perfect.

He was  NOT just a  man. Jesus was truly God and truly man.

It is not a big lie.

All I have is your words on this site to go on.

It is clear you dont understand what the gospel is. You ADD TO IT. You have not learned the difference in being baptized in the spirit and being immersed (baptized) in water .

1 Corinthians 15:1-4English Standard Version (ESV)

The Resurrection of Christ

15 Now I would remind you, brothers,[a] of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,

I dont see being dunked in water in that passage. ^ Do YOU?

Romans 10:9-10 9If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is LORD," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

How about this passage?  ^ Do you see "be baptized in water and you will be saved"?

When you add ANYTHING to the gospel of grace you stomp on the propitiation of Christ!

Water baptism is an ordinance JUST AS  Communion is also an ordinance. BOTH are NON SALVIFIC.

Water baptism is an outward testimony of being reborn again in Christ!

I have never told anyone to NOT be baptized (immersion in water). But the difference is that I dont proclaim that it is part of the salvific gospel of grace  like you do!

I was reborn in Christ in 1999. I was justified before the LORD. The Holy Spirit came to live inside of me. I was indwelt.

I was water baptized a few weeks later.

If I had died before I was dunked in water; I would have been with my Father in heaven!

but I do not believe the regeneration lie and you are being a false witness.

I believe the same God that created man and commanded adam and eve don't eat and dimustrated the sabbath is the same God that promised a reigning blessing on Abrahams seed and also commanded Abraham to sacrafice his Son then provided the sacrafice. I believe it the Same God who gave moses the law to serve God and governmental authority also gave the sabbath and feasts to saticfy the neds of man to witness. Is our Father Who sent his Son and salvation and freedom through Christ and in that message the command for water baptism is included. Now, the why of it is mildly explained as a witness to the gospel. But in my belief removing the fact the command is given to all men through all ages is a perversion of Scripture from a false witness.

Water baptism is NOT a COMMAND. Water baptism is an ORDINANCE!

Were you napping in the salvation 101 class at baptist seminary?

It is clear you think some mans reasoning who started teaching "you dont need to be baptised" in the 1800's knows more then God in infinate wisdom does. I am sure God and Christ Jesus and the diciples know for what reason "be baptised" is part of the salvation of man witness. God does subject us to frustration in hope so i cant explain why Father, Jesus, Peter and Paul were sent with the command But you can speculate all you want. It doesnt change the recorded fact. Please dont start crazy copy paste posting all those out of context scriptures that do not say he sent the diciples and paul out without the baptise command.

John Calvin said you have to be baptized to be saved. Except in rare cases like the thief on the cross. He who is baptize shall be saved. It is the faith behind the commandment  that saves but if a person does not take the command to be serious them there faith is not alive

Water baptism is an ordinance. I have not ever said to not be water baptized. I was water baptized after I was reborn in Christ.

Its a good idea to read through the entire thread so that you understand where people are coming from so that they dont have to keep repeating what they have said.  Its just plain polite!

I quote GODS WORDS. You are a LIAR.

I have never qouted a man from 1800s whoever the heck you are referring to! You are simply amazing. You contradict yourself over and over again. Im very concerned for you. Your reasoning is so UNBALANCED.

I never said God didnt know. You just did!  Dont be ridiculous!

Why do you talk in riddles and bring in the strawman?

I posted GODS RECORDED WORDS. Why cant you understand it? You come back with your false assertions.. How often do you type out Gods words? You claim to know it. Prove your claim!!

You MUST worship in truth and spirit!  You are relying on works and mans traditions. That is EXACTLY what the PHARISEES do.

We are saved by grace alone through faith alone through Christ alone.

Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not by works, so that no one can boast.…

Open your ears REINITIN! You are stiff necked and you will perish because of it! You will not only be held accountable for perverting the gospel of grace but you will be held accountable for leading others astray!

THIS!

The word is spelled "baptize." Proper spelling and sentence structure are elementary. It is important!

It would be very refreshing  if you would post scripture to back up your claims. But you cant! Scripture does not say what you claim.

I have said the same thing probably AT LEAST 50 times on this thread alone.

You dont have a teachable spirit. There is a blockage . It is called PRIDE.

Here comes some more scripture!  Are you ready? I know it really bothers you ( you have mentioned it several times havent you?) to see scripture in a scriptural discussion:rolleyes:

James 4:6 God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.…

Quit "horsing around" reinitin!

Your eternal soul is at risk of perishing! :emot-fail:

ok, lets start with the prophetics aclaimation that he came to baptise with the Holy spirit and fire Which we have testimony to it's fullfillment in the book of acts. On the day of penticost (a jewish feast day which if you study is a testimony of what happend in the upper room). And when the recievers of the Holy Spirt came down in fire stepped out of that room the gospel they preached by the command of the Lord and sign of the Holy Spirits falling with fire included be baptised. By the power of Holy Spirit that fell with fire the proclaimed be baptused and they baptised. So that scripture being used to support a"you do nt need to be baptised" or gospel without baptise is just pervertion of scripture.

Sure, faith without works is dead but works pleasing to God without faith is IMPOSSIBLE.

And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (Heb 11:6)

By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks.
(Heb 11:4)

So those trusting in their own obedience to be pleasing to God are doomed but those trusting in the obedience of Jesus find favor with God. (Rom 5:19b)

Those scriptures are not reaching one to trust in works. It's teaching what a living faith is. It's Christ cross that brings salvation.  He bore ours sins are the cross. So who can boast. Then we are given the promise of the holy spirit. Who gives us power to walk with God like Abraham.

People who preach works salvation ,why don't you sell your pc right now and everything that you have and go follow Jesus right now?

Matthew 19

20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

OK, sorry!

I see you are a bit "strong" in your phrases, it would be nice if you could be more kind and patient... This is what I feel.

This topic has 700+ posts and following it is a bit difficult for me. I hope you can understand. Sorry!

God bless you!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
