The actual founding of America was on April 29th, 1607 where America was consecrated for Christ.

Excerpt...........

1620-+ 'the city upon a hill,' that's the heart and the core of what America's been all about since day one. Point being here that the basis for American life was to be committed Christians who were to so let their light shine to one another and then to the whole world, that the world could see that as an example."

The American character was born in Scripture and nurtured by the Holy Spirit, yet today, our national heritage is under siege. Bishop James Madison warned of such a risk in 1795: "The moment that religion, the pure and undefiled religion, loses its influence over our hearts, from that fatal moment, farewell to public and private happiness. Farewell--a long farewell--to virtue, to patriotism, to liberty."

Excellent, Fidei
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true.........................think!

to you all, please don't get the nation confused with our government.....    our nation was populated by decent Christian people and it was those people that made this country great.....    but our government was not based on Christian principles, but the workings of Freemasonry and the occult...…    almost all the architecture is Roman Paganism and even the streets are laid out in occultist patterns.

The district of Columbia is about ten square miles and it is not technically part of the United States of America....   it has it's own constitution, it's own police force, it's own flag, pays no taxes and is not answerable to anyone other than itself.   It's legal system is the old Roman Lex Fori legal system.   And it is far from being a Christian organization.....

The OP; " Founded A Christian Nation "  Not ended.  I'm not confused. Never thought once about government.
I thought the story of Cape Henry to be inspirational, and enjoyed reading it. I have known a little about masonry influence, but not about DC having it's own constitution. Dude, did you get me digging. The Crown-Vatican-DC.     Scheese!
