I think heaven will be like earth. But without sin. The Lord said he would drink the vine with us in the kingdom. There will be worship like we worship now. In prayer and praise. We will see all our departed family friends and brethren. We will sing praises and play music just like on earth. There are trees just like earth. But I think more beautiful and great. There will be work to do only it will be fun. There will play and that will be fun. We will be sent places to do things for the lord. God may send us to another galaxy a trillion light years away to Set up something for him. Maybe but why the trillions of galaxy in the universe? God does not create in vain. God wants himself reflected everywhere.

As other users pointed out, Jesus used earthly images to make us imagine Heaven.

If you think you can make us imagine Heaven better than He did, then teach us how to do it.

But if your only thought is "Heaven is totally different so let's just not imagine it at all", then I'll read you another time.

There are already too many people not interested in Heaven or scared that it will be a boring  place with boring people, thanks to some  Christians

Btw in the Gospel is clear what is from the world. Power over other people, unjustice, misery, diseases, violence.

These things are definitely not gonna be in Heaven.

But the creative power of the Lord will not certainly be limited to offering us a boring contemplation.

I'll stop here cause too many Scriptures have already been presented and explained

PS

I like the image you just post. But if you think about it and reason on this last answer, my previous ones and what other users are saying, you' ll find out that it is compatible, because we are talking about 2 different aspects

What God wants us to know about heaven is written in the Bible. Otherwise He wants us to get there to experience it. We can only imagine. We do not know what will be in heaven and what will not be in heaven other than the info that God has given us.Although we can speculate.  Heaven will be the born again Christian's reward.

It's half joke and half serious, every stone you turn you may find the foot prints of the devil, and he makes people think they are the first ones.

Think about that, they devil wsnts us to think that he is not there.

I think if we wear the armour of God we can stand against his wiles. Satan will be cast into the lake of fire and will not be seen again.

This is comfort food,

Do you think that the devil at times may aproch some of us, and make us remember to put on the armour of God, and then what?

What happens when someone thinks he is untouchable?

Who is going to have a feild day?

Remember when Jesus told to Peter , do not fall asleep, thinking I am Peter, the untouchable.

Jesus said be vigilant you do not know the day and the time of the visitation, it is not when we stand guards waiting to come, we may see the clouds but not rain.

The same can be said not only for God , but also for the devil.

Jesus said to Peter , someone is waiting to get the chance to give you a good test, make you go through the litle holes of the sifter, he did not mean iliterally , but this is something to think about,

.

we agree on many things sis.

We agree that Heaven will be even more amazing that we can ever imagine.

We agree that we will definitely need to leave behind many earthly things (love for power, pride, etc.)

We even agree that we can speculate, by taking inspiration to Christ's parables and images that He left us.

My only point is that of course right now, in our fleshy state, our imagination is limited and we can only imperfectly imagine Heaven; but still we SHOULD imagine, because thinking about it makes are more excited about it, while not talking about it and not thinking about it just makes us colder.

If you think about what I'm writing deeply, you'll realize that we may agree on this one too.

God bless

I imagine heaven a lot. But it is only my human imagination. I am sure it will be beyond my wildest dreams. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
