Yes, we are here to preach truth. And God willing they will repent and come to the Lord. The flesh does not want it, obviously, that is why I said: God willing!

    who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13

 

If they remain in unbelief... Well, at least the seed of truth is already there, and God may use to try to convince them that the flesh profits nothing and leads only to death.

I think about the revivals we have heard about, when it's like God opens the windows of heaven and pours out a blessing, so that people get swept into the kingdom so easily.  Why He doesn't do that all the time I just don't really know, His arm is never too short to save......but who can argue with His wisdom and sovereignty in these things....and all we can do is ask.

And as I thought you assume all astrology is predicting the future. 

if it's winter and the sun is low in sky, can I forcast the future of when the sun will be high in sky and summer, yup sure can.

And I can feel that... Many people are simply not praying, not seeking, not asking, not watching, too distracted with things of the world.

The problem?! People are going after other people, and not putting scriptures to practice.

Names of Days and months are completely pagan, how do we not use them? we say astrology is of darkness, yet if a person uses modern words for days of weeks and months isn't this the same thing astrology pagan names for days, are we not be hypocrites. huh either I need to use the Jewish names and calandar or use something else but what?

Amen.....can't help but feel the current scattered state of the flock has something to do with it as well.

Praise the Lord my friend of many letters.     When by grace I was turned around years ago,  the love that was poured into my heart was for nothing material.

The asking was all about a closer walk with GOD and supply of the Spirit

the seeking was FOR GOD

and the knocking was all about GOD.

Later of course I found out by JESUS sayings.....................And how much MORE shall my HEAVENLY FATHER GIVE the HOLY SPIRIT to those who ask.     In luke  .

And JESUS said SEEK NOT these things,    material

When ask seek and KNOCK is all about the desire to just know Him more .....................Talk about the Love of GOD being shed on a heart .  for the natural mind cannot receive that

Yeah.     As for a prayer that actually pleased God,    Solomons prayer that he prayed at the FIRST ,   pleased GOD. 

When ask seek and knock is all about the SPIRITUAL , when seeking is all about TO SEEK THE LORD WITH THE WHOLE HEART

and KNOCKNG is all about THE DOOR

THEN NOW that alone is the WORK of GRACE on a heart .    FROM DAY ONE .

But let us remember that the lusts of riches and other things can choke that right out of one .

You be blessed.     I say when we pray it should be OH to KNOW HIM MORE and to seek understanding as the great riches

knowledge and wisdom,  and all so that we simply serve him from the whole heart , giving all honor unto the LORD.
