Immigrating to The Philippines

I understand from one of our members living in The Philippines that all refugees and asylum seekers are very welcome in The Philippines!  Their President has told everyone they can go there.

In addition, they can receive monthly cash, free medical, free schooling....or perhaps those benefits are just for the tribal people who already have lived in that country for many years?

Anyhow, I am thinking that many of the people seeking asylum in the USA, and even some of our homeless might enjoy living in The Philippines.  They just don't know about the benefits of living there and that there is an open invitation to them.  It is also a lovely tropical country and would be alot easier to live in than many States in the USA.

Anyhow just some thoughts....

Seems to me Southern California is also packed with Philippinos staffing the hospitals as nursing aids etc. all having fled the conditions at the Philippines. But hey seems like a grand solution , well maybe not for anyone that would end up like the 250,000 street kids  there.

Some of the family here used to go there with clothes for the street kids. My house used to get filled with up to 200 little dresses for girls that my wife would sew together for the family to take.

All may be welcome to go, but just what is it they will end up living in when they get there? Seems to me it might be a den of  Satanic horror awaiting them.

I know their President allows the murders of drug dealers and suspected drug users.  So that means the Cartel drug lords will avoid going there, and keep coming to the USA.   I believe this is still going on....I heard on Nightline that vigilante activity by the police and even regular people is allowed against even suspected drug users.   One lady claimed her son had stopped using drugs but the vigilantes came at midnight and dragged him out to the street and shot him to death!

And it seemed like such a good idea in those Charles Bronson "Death Wish" movies. Shoot and kill first, ask questions later- no don't even ask questions. Now it is just take out up to three million people  "suspected" of drug usage. And the mobs cheered on.

Wonder who gets shot and killed when the suspected drug users run low or are gone? Or is it just someone else's turn to be a drug user suspect/target for destruction?

Gee, seems the enforcers and vigilantes don't even put the suspects in clean open fenced cages first. Hmm... No! No! No!

Ah where oh where is paradise on earth to be found? Is the curse everywhere? I once thought peace was the Lakes  Region of New Hampshire, then the orange groves of Orange County, California and then even the coastal jungle islands off Homosassa Florida.

Seems I have been wrong, peace is not a geography lesson at all.

The vast majority of these supposed ""refugees"" are not Refugees but are economic migrants looking for a better life in a first world country... 

The reason why the Philippines solution would never work is because at best the Philippines is a second world country and at worst in some areas of the nation it is a third world country..

So these supposed Refugees will not want anything to do with this offer..

True....the USA was/is being condemned but we were/are treating illegal aliens in a civil manner.   Never heard about these condoned killings of even suspected drug users in The Philippines until the Nightline episode.   I wonder why there was no world-wide outcry over those actions in The Philippines?

Illegal immigrants pay several thousand dollars or more to get into the USA illegally, depending on the length of the journey.  In an article from 2014, the going rate was $6000 to $7000 just from Tijuana to San Diego or Los Angeles.    To go to New York City, the article quoted $15,000!

So instead of paying those fees to coyotes (smugglers), maybe the illegal immigrants can just board a plane to The Philippines since your President is welcoming everyone.

Oh, but wait, you say  people have to prove they are able to support themselves once in The Philippines...in order to be allowed into the country.   That is what the USA would love to do as well... instead the USA is being flooded with so many people unable to support themselves....so they end up receiving all sorts of benefits funded by US citizens.  That is the problem but our country is condemned for trying to curb the overwhelming problem.

That's interesting because in the name of Christian love, the US is supposed to just open our borders up, give amnesty to every Tom, Dick and Harry that askes for it, not question anyone, don't check for legality, and just ignore our laws and let people just waltz into the US no questions asked. And the American taxpayer is just supposed to pay for all of them with a smile. 

No other country holds themselves to the same standard that they hold the US to.   No other country would have the same reckless, irresponsible immigration policies that are expected of the United States.

But we are not talking about immigration.   We are talking about illegal aliens.   Liberals always conflate those two things.   There are no "illegal immigrants."    Immigrants always immigrate, meaning that they come here legally, get in line and move through the correct channels.

Illegal aliens are not immigrants.  Illegal aliens come here illegally and try to get around our laws.   Liberals try to redefine illegals as "immigrants" and we have to make sure we keep those two groups separated.

We need to tighten the screws and make it impossible for illegals to make it into the US.  They need to either come the right way or go back home.   They are not needed or wanted if they want to skirt around our laws.

Yes it can be very difficult or even almost impossible for many people.. from many / most developing nations.. to get a visa to visit the USA even though they are genuine tourists.
