All kinds of angels have wings as seen in Scripture:

Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.” (Isaiah 6:2, Holy Bible)

”And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME." (Revelation 4:8)

“Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them. The glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood over the mountain which is east of the city.” (Ezekiel 11:22-33)

“Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone. As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel. When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.  Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them. The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels. And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the river Chebar. Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would go beside them; also when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels would not turn from beside them.” (Ezekiel 10:9-16)

“"And He rode on a cherub and flew; And He appeared on the wings of the wind.” (2 Samuel 22:11)

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth--to every nation, tribe, language and people..” (Revelation 14:6)

Cherubim and Seraphim may or may not be angels.  It appears both have wings, but where does it say that angels expressly have wings?  The above passages are great scripture but don't answer the question.  Does the wind have wings?  The Bible says so.

Where are Cherubim and Seraphim called angels?  Here it refers to them as living creatures.  Awesome to be in the presence of for sure.

Cherubs were/are living creatures.  Where in the Bible does it say they are angels.  God has many types of living creatures, praise God.

I think the word Angel is basically a generic term for any being who is sent to do something pertaining to mankind.   So many things can be considered angels

Yes Satan is an angel:

11 Then this further message came to me from the Lord: 12 “Son of man, sing this funeral song for the king of Tyre. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord:

“You were the model of perfection,
full of wisdom and exquisite in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, (Genesis 3)
    the garden of God.
Your clothing was adorned with every precious stone[b]
red carnelian, pale-green peridot, white moonstone,
    blue-green beryl, onyx, green jasper,
blue lapis lazuli, turquoise, and emerald—
all beautifully crafted for you
and set in the finest gold.
They were given to you
on the day you were created.
14 I ordained and anointed you
as the mighty angelic guardian (Cherub that Coverath)
You had access to the holy mountain of God
and walked among the stones of fire.

15 “You were blameless in all you did
from the day you were created
until the day evil was found in you.
16 Your rich commerce led you to violence,
    and you sinned.
So I banished you in disgrace
    from the mountain of God.
I expelled you, O mighty guardian,
from your place among the stones of fire.
17 Your heart was filled with pride
    because of all your beauty.
Your wisdom was corrupted
    by your love of splendor.
So I threw you to the ground
and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings.
18 You defiled your sanctuaries
with your many sins and your dishonest trade.
So I brought fire out from within you,
    and it consumed you.
I reduced you to ashes on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All who knew you are appalled at your fate.
You have come to a terrible end,
and you will exist no more (Revelation 20:10).” (Ezekiel 28:11-19)

It says the Son of Man judged, that is Jesus who is Son of Man (Matthew 16:13-25, Matthew 9:6, Mark 8:31, Luke 9:22 , Acts 7:56) and it says the being was the Angelic Guardian (Ezekiel 28:14), it says He was in Eden (Ezekiel 28:13) and so was Satan (Genesis 3:1-21), it says He was caste down (Ezekiel 28:17) which cross ref:18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” (Luke 10:18). It even speaks of Satan’s final fate (Ezekiel 28:19): “Satan was caste into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet where and there he is tormented forever,” (Revelation 20:10) and this lake of fire is the second death (Revelation 20:15) and was made for Satan and his angels, “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.” (Matthew 25:41).

Satan or Lucifer or the devil was the Cherub (highest part of Cherubim, Ezekiel 10:9-16) who Coverath God (Ezekiel 28:14) and He led a war in heaven and fell:

Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.” (Revelation 12:7-9, cross ref Ezekiel 28:17 and Luke 10:18).

Cherub that Coverath, led 1/3 of the angels in rebellion.  Cherubs must somehow be different than angels.  That Satan, the great dragon, had angel followers is not in question.  The Bible says so, that's enough.  But how are Cherubs different than angels?  Why would an angel fall for what the Cherub Satan was offering?

You don't want to go there.  You would have to have a very inappropriate relationship to really understand that.

I think the word Angel is basically a generic term for any being who is sent to do something pertaining to mankind.   So many things can be considered angels

Angels are another species:

“Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.

For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:

“You are my Son.
Today I have become your Father.[a]

God also said,

“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son.”[b]

And when he brought his supreme[c] Son into the world, God said,[d]

“Let all of God’s angels worship him.”[e]

Regarding the angels, he says,

He sends his angels like the winds,
his servants like flames of fire.”[f]

But to the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.
You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”[g]

10 He also says to the Son,

“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth
and made the heavens with your hands.
11 They will perish, but you remain forever.
They will wear out like old clothing.
12 You will fold them up like a cloak
and discard them like old clothing.
But you are always the same;
    you will live forever.”[h]

13 And God never said to any of the angels,

“Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
    until I humble your enemies,
making them a footstool under your feet.”[i]

14 Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.” (Hebrews 1:1-14)

Man in contrast is made in the ImGs is God,and has a spirit and body, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them,” (Genesis 1:27), and, “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” (Genesis 2:7)

That is true, He was the Cherub that Coverath (Ezekiel 28:14 KJV).

Not those cute Victorian Cherub angel babies (Cupid), no, He was one of those with a lion’s head, eagle head, man’s head and of head (Ezekiel 10:9-16).

I believe the Ezekiel: 10 scripture is describing a number of different cherubs.. I believe the throne of God is made up of a number of living Cherubs..

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
