The Lord does tell us  with absolute certainty who the beast is.

Yeah, that's why everyone is in such agreement and understanding of who the beast is.

Not!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I too would like to see who the beast is. Sure would solve all mystery, wouldn't it?

OK. Let's take a look at the Book of Revelation.

We have a lamb, a white horse, a red horse, a black horse, a pale horse, we have souls under the alter, (does God really keep souls under His alter?), we have two witnesses, a woman clothed with the sun with the moon under her feet, a garland of twelve stars, a red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads, a beast rising up out of the sea, a beast rising up out of the earth with two horns like a lamb, we have a mark, we have three angels flying in the air, we have angels with sharp sickles gathering grape clusters of the vine of the earth,........I could go on.

You state that you see the Bible as very clear what God said, even a child can understand it. Can you tell me what God is telling you in Rev. 13? Let's just look at one chapter to start with. Then you can take us through the rest of the chapters, since it is so clear to you.

In Christ,

Just because you cannot see them, does not mean they do not exist.

Symbols H'mmm Is that of God?

Does God like confusion?

Does The Almighty God the One Who created ALL things, not have Angels?

How big do you think they are? Like us? lol

How can we limit God? That is not for us to do. Sorry.

I believe God set us examples all throughout the entire Bible.

Not symbols.

If you want these things explained to you. You must ask God and Listen. Not man.

Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

If you want the right answer CarolineS, You have to ask Him. ohh and make sure you listen too. He tends to talk gently.

Ohh one more thing.

Jesus also says My sheep Know My Voice.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I'm still waiting for your understanding of Revelation 13.

God created us as well as them.

pale horse, red horse whatever.

What did John see?

exactly what he saw.

I hope your not one of those that take away the New Testiment from the Old

If you want to interput Revelations. You have to go back to the Old testiment

The Old Prophets tolds us in detail what would happen.

There is a spiritual world that is not seen by people who don't want to see it or just can't handle it.

I take the Bible literally not symbolicly. There are many examples. But for that you would have to do alot of reading with me. Or you just won't get it.

I'm not here to argue just giving my opinion.

Well, let's take this verse "literally":

Rev. 12:1 - A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of 12 stars on her head.

Wow!

That must be some woman who can be clothed with the sun and not vaporize, has legs long enough to stretch to the moon for her feet to be upon, and have her neck stretch far enough that 12 other stars light years away can be upon her head.

Alright guys, all you conspiracy theorists out there.  Got a question for ya.

Suppose you could tell me, with absolute certainty, who the Beast is.

And suppose that you could tell me, with absolute certainty, that Jesus would return at 2 pm next Tuesday.

What should I start doing now, that I'm not supposed to be doing already?  :emot-hug:

Thessalonians 2 : 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come , except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Is this an individual or is it any man filled with pride?

As Jesus described our body as a temple and pride only displaces God in the temple and unGodly people have this notion that they are their own gods, I would think this description of the anti christ is prideful man in general. Am I light years behind in my thinking? :emot-hug:

That is quiet a picture huh? lol

that would be the example part not a symbol.

I don't see any symbols there.

lol

That is an example of the Catholic church at least to me.

It describes her perfectly

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
