What utter nonsense saying Apostle Paul preached another gospel?? that opinion lacks understanding & is completely FALSE .  There is ONLY ONE GOSPEL of Christ Jesus & Apostle Paul preaches it. Apostle Paul prior to his Christian conversion ,was Saul of Tarsus who had studied thoroughly the Jewish Law & OT prophets. Apostle Paul was selected & chosen by Christ Jesus on the road to Damascus, with his Scholarly Expertise having studied under the notable Rabbi Gamaliel  in Jewish O.T. to be used for Christ's purposes to further the Gospel of Jesus. The Holy Spirit used Apostle Paul as the chosen vessel to clarify the Gospel using his knowledge of Jewish scriptures.

There is a certain cult of people who are anti paul. I cant remember what they call themselves right off hand.

Who said this in this thread?  Why dose this keep coming up?   I don't think anyone in this thread has said "we must make friends with non-Christians in order to win them to Christ?" I know that is not what I do or how I live my life. Nor has it been anything I have ever been instructed to do. It is not even something I would do or agree with.  I am an introvert and I don't make friends with just anyone very easily. In other words I am not a people person.  So no. I do not hold to the ideal that one must make friends with non-Christians  in order to lead then to Christ.

I don't think anyone hear said it .    But it and other tatics is what this agenda is all about .    That is why I bring them up .   to expose and ensure no one thinks like this .

Well it is nice to see that we can be in agreement with something. :th_handshake:

Good.  then lets be in agreement on increasing our bible reading time .     even if you read it now , just increase it .    watch what will happen.

By grace I loved and love to read that bible .    And in time those words really do form in us by the power of grace .  So read more and your thoughts will keep getting changed .

Just watch  .

Peter was preaching the gospel of the Kingdom which is different from the gospel of grace. I mentioned this in a reply to Shiloh, but maybe you didn't see it. Paul didn't preach to repent from our sins and believe. The repentance Paul is talking about is to believe, have faith, and stop trying to work our way into the Kingdom by our own efforts. He is telling people to repent from their own wisdom and the ways of man to gain God's approval and to return to the simple message of the gospel which is Christ crucified. In other words, Paul is telling us to repent from our own wisdom and to seek divine wisdom through the Word of God and His Spirit.

Now when he is talking to believers in his letters to the Churches, he does talk about individuals turning away from their sinful behavior.

YOU make excuse for everything .  HE was preaching the same gospel paul did and they all preached the same one Christ did .    You just ducking and dodging .

Even when we show you ,  YOU SEE NOTHING but continuously make excuse .  YOU formed your OWN VERSION of what YOU THINK the gospel is , and they try and make

scripture AGREE WITH YOU reasoning .       VERY dangerous badjoa .    You should just let scripture reveal TRUTH to YOU  instead of trying to conform scripture

to your pre conceived idea , that either you were taught , or your own mind invented .

Yeah well nonsense or not I've been around and with 99 percent certanty I can attest I've seen more atheist help people than Christians

Yes Kevin, why just look and all the great hospitals, major universities, charities, etc, founded by atheists. Red Cross, Salvation Army, Goodwill, Oxford, Yale, Princeton, Harvard . . . oh wait, never mind, that was Christians. I'd bet there are more hospitals founded by Christians in just Los Angeles, that have have been founded by atheists in the whole country. There are decent, kind, helpful atheists I have no doubt, but as a group, I do not see a lot of atheists doing much to improve things.

When I was an atheist, more Christians reached out to help me, than was true among my friends (atheists), your 99 percent certainty aside, you represent the opinion of one person, not exactly a significant, statistical sampling.

How could the original disciples share something that they didn’t understand and was hidden from them? The gospel of the kingdom had nothing to do with the cross.

BECAUSE CHRIST had taught them and THEY RECIEVED the COMFORTER .   the same one TRUE BELIEVERS today STILL  have.  and JESUS IS the HOLY SPIRIT .

THAT is how they could know .  YOU are operating ONLY in the carnal mind .    You speak , but I hear  NOT the SPIRIT in you  . ONLY mans way of seeing things .

And badjao .,  I have never seen that in you .    ONLY mens way of seeing things .    Something major is missing .    You need to begin all over , on bended knees

and pray feverently to the LORD .    I say this out of great concern and not to condemn .

I will ask you the same questions I asked Davida.

Why would Paul make a distinction and call it his gospel? Or that it was revealed to him and had always been a mystery?

If it had always been a mystery until it was revealed to Paul, how could it possibly be the same gospel that Jesus and the original disciples shared?

“In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” (Romans 2:16)

“Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began…” – (Romans 16:25)

“Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:”  (2 Timothy 2:8)

How could the "Good News" that Jesus died on the cross for our sins be preached prior to Jesus actually dying on the cross?

The original disciples clearly had no concept of the gospel we share today until after it was revealed to Paul.

Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and call things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished. “For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and mistreated and spit upon, and after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and the third day He will rise again.” But  the disciples understood none of these things, and the meaning of this statement was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend the things that were said. (Luke 18:31–34)

For He was teaching His disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill Him; and when He has been killed, He will rise three days later.” But they did not understand this statement, and they were afraid to ask Him. (Mark 9:31–32)

To answer your question: through divine enlightening.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
